I’ve lived in this area for 20 years and this is my usual Starbucks. I don’t know what happened but it seems as though in the last 5 years, the drinks have just been awful. I don’t know who’s training the new employees, but there always different staff each month and the service just keeps getting worse. I’m highly disappointed.

I don't usually frequent Starbucks but I decided to enter this one while on an errand in the city for a hot drink on a cold day. The atmosphere was welcoming and although there was a bit of a line , everyone was being served in a timely manner. The barista , Piña , that took my order was friendly and polite. This location of Starbucks, which can be found off of Columbus Avenue on the Upper West Side, is pretty good!! My coffee is always made correctly and the space is always clean + well - kept. My only complaint is that sometimes there is a bit of a wait and the way the store is designed, it can get kind of packed.
