The Nines Reviews
This was our first time at the nines and it’s by far the best restaurant we’ve been to in nyc. The service is excellent, food was delightful, and the atmosphere was fantastic.
We tried the kaspian potato, red prawn salad, the filet mignon, and the sundae. They were all perfect.
This will be a restaurant we come to every time we visit to the city. 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting.
This place does what insta does best , make it look amazing based on pics but sub par in person… first off my gripe was with the lighting. Like I get nice places have dim lighting , but this was WAY over the top, I couldn’t read the menu , I couldn’t even see the food I ordered, and when I turned my flash on to see my food, the waiter quickly said to me “we don’t allow flash in here”
Next was how crammed everyone and everything is, I...read full review

The Nines is a beautiful, cozy, speakeasy-like spot with a romantic, intimate atmosphere and live piano or jazz music. The interior is chic, elegant, and beautifully curated with soft lighting and velvet details, giving a polished, modern NYC vibe. The service is attentive, warm, and professional, with staff offering welcoming energy and even complimentary food, drinks, or glasses of champagne for special occasions. The food menu is limited, with dishes like Poached Salmon with green & white asparagus and dill beurre blanc, tuna tartare, club, fries, and mousse for dessert—all delicious, well-executed, and thoughtfully presented. The cocktails are elegantly presented and expertly made. The noise level can be quite high, and the experience may not fully match a true dinner-and-jazz concept, as the music sometimes features piano versions of pop songs. The menu can feel more like appetizer-style offerings rather than a full dinner experience. Overall, The Nines is perfect for a date-night, special night out, or a lively, refined dinner, and is definitely worth a visit.
