Both Thai Tea and Pandan flavors were amazing
Intersting flavours but OK ice cream.
This small ice cream shop offers a great selection of flavors, some of them are truly unique. We tried Black Sesame, Lychee Rose, Coconut & Pistachio, and they were all very creamy and delicious. We also sampled a few other flavors, and everything we tried was good. In addition to their ice cream, they have merchandise like t-shirts, hoodies, plushies, and pins. All staff were friendly and helpful! We’re definitely coming back!
I got the coconut and pandan ice cream, and it was just pure joy! Still dreaming about it till this day. 100% recommended!
This is a cool spot. Staff was great. They allow samples and you definitely will want to take advantage. They have unique flavors that I haven’t seen anywhere else. Highly recommend.
I was here a few years ago. I had mango ice cream it was light orange with mango chunks in it. Recently I went back and had mango, it was bright orange no mango chunks and a weird texture. Not what I remember. Staff was nice they used to have a banner up outside so you could easily find them They said it was broken Place appeared dirty. I would not return
I don’t know what to say, these pictures are WITHIN 6 months. The prices are rising but the flavors are ALWAYS MISSING and the ones they do have are not as good as they were.
This is absurd
Such a hidden gem in Chinatown! I stumbled upon this place and absolutely loved their lime sorbet. The flavor is incredibly fresh, vibrant, and real. It tastes just like natural lime, not artificial at all, which is so rare to find!
I’m already planning to come back to try their seasonal flavors like dragon fruit and taro; they sound amazing. If you’re a fan of fruit-forward ice cream or looking for a refreshing treat in the neighborhood, this place is definitely worth a visit. A true gem for dessert lovers in NYC!
Chinatown Ice Cream Factory. The Chinatown Ice Cream Factory is an ice cream parlor in Chinatown, Manhattan, New York City. The business opened in 1977, and is known for their Asian-inspired ice cream flavors. The best ice cream in New York with flavors you can't find anywhere else. Pumpkin pie , lychee with rose water, black sesame, pandan, ginger, Thai tea, along with old-fashioned banana and more. A must stop 🍦🍦 I love the pumpkin 🎃 pie , it’s the best ever
Fantastic ice cream quality and variety

Chinatown Ice Cream Factory is a must go location in Chinatown! The only gripe I have with this is the fact that this flavor, chocolate chili crisp, was really dang spicy.
Really good ice cream! They are very generous with their portion as well. So many choices, I recommend the lychee! It’s their most popular one.
Good selection of ice creams although they were a lot more compact than I’d have liked. Simple store with efficient staff.
A NYC staple. I’m a big ice cream fan and I have yet to find these flavors anywhere else. My favorite is pandan followed by ube and zen butter. So so good!
Amazing ice cream. Got a scoop of ube “purple” and pandan “green”. Both were top notch but the ube was definitely my favorite. Great flavor and super creamy. Would recommend.
