This place was amazing. The service was too not h as was the food. Some of the best dae ji bolgogi, if no the best!

I highly recommend eating here! I will again in the future!

I've travelled to Korea 3 times and worked at a Korean restaurant in NYC. This was by far the worst Korean restaurant I've dined at thus far.

While their sister restaurant TADA Chicken had crispy, delicious fried chicken that I would go back for, I couldn't justify coming back to Tofu Tofu. Service was fast and friendly, but the food was disappointing and overpriced.

Seafood pancake- solid order for the most part, lots of seafood ingredients. Crispy exterior and soft chewy interior.
Ox bone soup- not at all the rich, milky white hearty bone broth that it's known to be. It tasted like plain water. Served with lots of noodles and 3 measly small slices of beef.
Yuk gae jang- pretty much salt water soup. It was red yet not spicy at all. It felt like they shredded the beef to camouflage with the mushrooms just so it seemed like there were a lot of ingredients when there really wasn't.

Food was good and reasonably priced. Decent L.A. Galbi and comes with Tofu stew which is more than enough for 1 person. Will definitely be back again.

10/10 food!! You feel right at home with the service provided. The kimchi tofu stew and honey soy garlic wings were perfect. The banchan was delicious (fish cakes, bean sprouts, macaroni salad, broccoli, + delicious kimchi). Everything was great, excited to come back again! (also good for groups)

The food is so good here. Fried chicken wings were bomb. Galbi was well marinated. The banchans were well seasoned and kept getting refilled. Everything was so flavorful.

Food was hot, fresh and came so fast. Literally writing this review while sitting here because of how good it is. Really enjoyed having an authentic spot in Chinatown.

If this was in my neighborhood, I'd come here every other day! Such a homey spot.

Food was delicious and owner was very nice! We even got 2 free egg dishes (I’m not sure if it was because we had more people or if it was for everyone but it was still great nonetheless!) I got gamjatang (κ°μžνƒ•) and it was delicious, just wish it came with more potatoes, meat, and veggies most of it was just bone and broth. The bulgugi (뢈고기) was one of my favorites, really loved the flavor. I also ordered the mango banana smoothie, which was a bit pricey but it was still good, not much mango flavor though just mostly banana. Staff were pretty attentive though it was hard to get some of their attention because of how busy it was but overall it was a very nice experience. Left super full and satisfied! A good place to eat at if you’re craving some authentic Korean food! We came during dinner time so it was very crowded, would recommend making a reservation in advance especially if you have a party around dinner hours. Side dishes (반찬) and rice bowls are free and unlimited.

This restaurant may have genuinely been my top 5 experiences at any restaurant. First, the atmosphere of the place itself. Though the area was small, it was warm, a comforting and cozy feeling surrounding you in an instant. Second, the service. The people who took my family's orders were extremely nice. They felt very welcoming and you could always have a genuine conversation with them. Lastly, the food. I got the cheese kimchi fried rice. That thing was something so good like I've never tasted before. The cheese was rich and heated to the perfect level, giving the kimchi fried rice a top-tier perfect layer. As for the kimchi fried rice itself, everything was yet again, delicious. The kimchi was at a perfect level of crunch and everything else inside balanced perfectly. Not to mention the fried chicken we had there too. Those things were hot, like very hot, but in a somewhat good way. They gave you gloves in case you didn't want to get your hands dirty, which was a huge help and something that I've never seen other restaurants do. Overall, this place was a great experience for me and if I ever go back to NYC, this is where I would definitely urge my family to go again.
