This review is for Tradisyon's location at Urban Hawker Food Hall on 50th Street, since there seems not to be a Google Maps entry for that spot. I was happy to have their version of the dish that I know as Bangus, but as a much more palatable, far fresher, less vinegary style. I like it! Whole meal & drink for less than twenty dollars!

I was looking for some filipino comfort food and this was definitely the place to go. We got kare-kare, chicken adobo, and ginitaang dish with bokchoy and oh my goodness it was so delicious. The garlic fried rice was perfect. Our server was great and we came at the end of the night, so it was just me and my partner.
They have a bathroom outside of the restaurant in another shop that's just around the corner. Not the most convenient, but if you gotta go, you can!
They also gave us a free serving of white rice to go which was very sweet of them, I'd recommend any Filipino to come here if they're looking for Filipino comfort food!!

I will never go back to this restaurant and yes, my household curse never to go back. The Filipina lady( maybe she is the owner) is rude, nasty and unwelcoming with her attitude, GOOD! WE WILL STICK TO OUR CHINESE FOOD IN CHINATOWN NYC.
A friend recommended this restaurant to us. The food is ABSOLUTELY OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! So fresh and delicious with a beautiful mix of sweet and savory flavors. Everything we ordered were top notch. The service was effecient, swift and friendly. Will defenitily go back to try more of the other items on the menu.

Food was great but the sisig could have used a bit more char and a bit of seasoning but the Lechon Kawali was delicious (very fatty dish so not for the faint of heart). Kare Kare also very tasty! No problems finishing the rice with that amount of flavor. Shout-out to the service - homey Filipino hospitality!

Shout out to Chef Anton and staff for highlighting traditional Filipino food in this little restaurant. Filipino comfort food at its finest. Simple, rustic, delicious. We tried the sauteed bokchoy as a side. The beef salpicao and pancit canton. Prices are reasonable. It was a little past the lunch rush when we came, so we got seated right away. Total experience was excellent. Will definitely be one of my go-to places next time I visit New York.

Best pinoy food in town. We had pork longganisa and the vegan pancit. The food was really tasty. We didn’t have to wait for long until food was ready. Big thanks to Paulo and the team.
Best regards and see u next time!

Legit filipino food in Hell's Kitchen. The lechon kawali, chicken inasal, are delicious. The sinigang is more a stew than a soup, very thick, still comforting. The kare kare is more on the savory side, i personally like it a bit sweeter, but still good. I have to give it to the pancit canton special pork and chicken tho. That was excellent and pancit is not usually something I get excited abt. I bought it to share with my coworkers and it was a hit. The combo of veggies and protiens chosen (plus those crispy onions on top were *chefs kiss*) My only request would be an extra slice of lime 😜

We were 3 all together having lunch on Thursday when the restaurant had a big catering. Paolo was very nice and very attentive. He provided us the chip on the house since the garlic rice was not ready. We were very appreciated and enjoyed our food. We are sure we will revisit. Chix Adobo and the Bok Choi are the best !!!!!

I recently visited Tradisyon after hearing that Lea Salonga had dined there, which made me super excited to try it out! With the weather being cold, I was especially looking forward to a comforting bowl of their sinigang—it was the main reason for our trip.
We arrived as the last customers of the evening, and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. They even gave us extra garlic rice and joked about ruining our diet, which added a personal touch that we appreciated. The lumpia was fantastic—crispy, fresh, and full of flavor.
However, the sinigang, unfortunately, didn’t live up to our expectations. The broth was dark and lacked that classic tangy, comforting flavor. The meat was so overcooked that it seemed like it had been reheated multiple times, which was disappointing, especially since it was the dish we were most excited for on a chilly evening.
While the service and lumpia were definite highlights, I hope they consider giving more attention to the quality of their sinigang in the future.
