Unsmiling waiter, to have eaten in Rome and to have good Italian cuisine in France, we are far from the mark. Far too much garlic, that's all we could smell in the dishes. To eat well in New York, you really have to pay the price. French friends, be careful if you have developed taste buds, go elsewhere.

Well, for starters the waiter obviously hated his job. He wasn't exactly rude, more like just thoroughly underwhelmed with your presence. Our starter was pretty good - meat and cheese with focaccia bread. We got the pizza Bianca and short rib cannelloni. We thought the pizza would be light and offset the heavier short ribs dish. Wrong. They have taken what seems to be a store bought crust and tried to cover it up with a ton of cheese and arugula. I love cheese, but the dish was too heavy for a thin crust pizza. The short rib dish was good, but in the whole it was not worth what we paid. Honestly, most of it wasn't. They seem to have decided to go for quantity (the portions were generous, I'll say that) over quality. For the price point, it just misses the mark. Especially when the service was lackadaisical at best. The venue was pretty nice.

The service stared off great, I ordered the filet and they clearly do not know how to cook it. My bf mentioned something about it to the server and I was not going to eat a hockey puck. The server argued with him about it a wasn’t going to fix it. But my bf wasn’t going to give up. He then brought it back and got me a new one which was still wrong. If I could give zero stars for the service I would

We were staying in the New Yorker Hotel. We booked the restaurant for evening dinner. We were seated straight away and the service was prompt. We had steak for one and chicken for two more. The food arrived out in good time and the streak was cooked as requested. It was an enjoyable evening. We would go again.

Simply wonderful, I had a shrimp risotto with roasted lemons, an explosion of flavors.

They pass themselves off as an Italian restaurant but…. We had a carbonara and a mega hamburger, the pasta wasn't bad but it was like eating a plate of spaghetti with cream and ham... don't expect to eat Italian

Decent place. Food is decent. Ambience is less a trattoria and more of a cafeteria or basic restaurant.

We were a little bit disappointed with our food (2 out of 4). The pizza dough was thin but should be crispy, not wet. The veal scallopini with linguini was served in way too much sauce, it looked like a soup. The lamb shank and meatballs were tasty and the wine was very good too. All in all, a mixed experience.

The food was great, they were super nice and the service was great. I came late and they were very thoughtful. Both dishes I ordered were very tasty, special and surprised me, highly recommend!!

My recent dining experience at Trattoria Bianca in New York City was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we were greeted, our server, Tina, stood out as the epitome of professionalism and warmth. Her attentive service elevated our meal to an extraordinary level, making it one of the best we've had in ages.We opted for the Short Rib Cannelloni, and it was a decision we didn't regret. Served piping hot, the dish was a perfect symphony of flavors and textures. The blend of tender beef and creamy béchamel sauce was impeccably balanced, creating a mouthwatering sensation with every bite. The cannelloni was expertly cooked, showcasing the chef's mastery of Italian cuisine. My husband opted for the veal, and it was equally impressive. Cooked to perfection, the veal melted in the mouth, offering a taste of pure indulgence. Each bite was a testament to the chef's dedication to quality and precision in culinary execution.Overall, our experience at Trattoria Bianca surpassed our expectations. With impeccable service from Tina and exceptional dishes like the Short Rib Cannelloni and veal, it's no wonder this trattoria stands out as a must-visit in New York City. Whether you're craving authentic Italian cuisine or seeking unparalleled hospitality, Trattoria Bianca delivers an unforge

I can't really consider this a hotel restaurant even though it's adjacent to the New Yorker. It's much better based on my past experiences with hotel restaurants. Calamari was only lightly breaded (a good thing); beet salad, salmon, and pasta portions were large and artfully presented. Fausto took very good care of us. Loved the Italian advertising posters!
