Trattoria Bianca, a midtown restaurant near Times Square, offers a casual dining experience with a diner-like decor. This neighborhood gem is convenient to Penn Station and Moynihan Train Hall, making it a pleasant spot for friends and family to gather for a delicious meal. While some guests praise the delicious Calamari, Chicken Parmigiana, and fresh Beet Salad, others find the food bland and mediocre. The atmosphere can feel quiet and somewhat lacking in ambiance, but the Italian-themed posters add character. Service experiences vary; some diners appreciate the attentive but not intrusive staff, while others have noted moments of limited attention. Food quality received mixed reviews—some guests enjoyed perfectly cooked pizza and roasted Branzino, while others described the veal as a bit tough and the seafood fra diavolo as very mild. Desserts like New York Cheesecake are well-liked, and while the wine selection may benefit from more options, the Pinot Grigio was considered drinkable. Overall, Trattoria Bianca provides a satisfactory dining experience with both good and not-so-good moments, making it a place that some recommend for its location and certain dishes, especially for a pre-show or game dinner.
