Very upscale restaurant with a surprisingly quiet atmosphere. All the dim sum we tried was very good.

Make a reservation for Sunday lunch. We got the last table luckily without one. The service was friendly and professional. The dumplings were all delicious. The room is decorated nicely. Great spot on the UES, walking distance from the Met Museum.

Food wasn't that tasty, and for the price you can go to a bunch of other places in the area that are more tasty/affordable

FOOD is WEAK BLANT, NO FLAVOR, NOT SPICY AT ALL, not seasoned. UNAUTHENTIC, only come if you’re 65+ with zero taste buds or have a prescribed BLAND diet by a Gastrointestinal doctor.

Was in the area and glad to find a well-rated Chinese restaurant. Service was prompt, and the food was delicious. I was impressed by how thin the soup dumpling dough was - it was so delicate that a tiny pinch would reveal the juicy meat.We also ordered the crispy duck rolls, which combined my two favorite things in one - duck meat and spring rolls. For the entree, we opted to share a portion of the scallion beef dish. The flavor was spot on, and the portion was perfect for 2.

HUGE LIVE ROACH climbing over the ladies bathroom sink! Second time I have seen this there in a 2.5 month period. I know it's NYC and thought first time might be a one off but completely lost appetite.

Came here with my family and we loved it. Favorites items were the shrimp fried rice, duck rolls and hot and sour soup. The egg custard steamed bun was nice as a dessert.

Pretty solid dim sum - not saying it was bad at all, but I've had better places for the same amount of money. You are paying for location as well. The ambiance was great and service was also great. Very nice and attentive. They did have some amazing soul dumplings.

Great food, excellent service. The interior of the restaurant is immaculate and comfortable which is a far cry from some traditional dim sum places I've dined at.

Tri Dim is a nice popular UES restaurant with decent food and a warm bustling atmosphere. The tri-pepper Szechuan chicken was very tender though a bit too salty and under-spiced. The Shanghai sautéed thick noodle were good. The fish fillet was good but mild. The scallion pancakes were oily and the steamed pea shoot dumplings were good but a tiny portion. Overall the food was good but not really exceptional.
