Decide to stop in here for lunch after walking the farmer’s market in Union Square. Everything was so tasty (we are huge soup fans). I’m not sure why the bowls were so big (the contents are regular size), but I guess it added to the experience. Would highly recommend!
I came last night with my girlfriend and in complete honesty, this is the best udon place I’ve ever been to in the city. We started of with an order of salmon sushi and they were large portions for the price and also had good quality fish. As for udon, I ordered a katsu curry and she bought a creamy mentaiko udon. My katsu pork was the best piece of katsu I’ve ever had; it was flavorful and fried to perfection. As for her creamy ramen, it was just the right amount of smooth...
Came for lunch and delicious as always. Huge portions of udon that are to die for delicious and worth every penny. The sashimi was extremely fresh and a wonderful highlight to an otherwise hot afternoon.
