Chirashi bowl: $23 for essentially a bowl of white rice w 6 comically thin pieces of not-so-fresh fish. The tuna was especially gross :/

Located inside the Oculus. Amazing building & architecture I must say. Limited food options. Decided to try their udon noodles from here. They did not disappoint. Noodles were just right, broth was rich, no extra seasonings needed. The chicken wasn't it for me though. Not a fan or dark meat chicken. The texture was off for me too. Wasn't able to finish so we took it back to our hotel & it was still good to eat later! Would recommend this place to others. Although udon noodles were the only thing I tried, if that was a hit, I wonder what other great menu items they have. Service was short & professional. I'm usually someone who conversares to make light of the situation. The guy wanted to take my order & get out. Lol. Slight language barrier that didn't bother me. He answered my questions accordingly. Place itself looks clean. They had seating all around.

The worst Poke I have ever tasted in my life. Rotten smell, probably spoiled fish. Dangerous ⚠️

I’ve had their bento box which was great and Greg value for money.Their poke is not great! 1/5 was fresh onions and ginger, 5 small pieces of fish and rice. Not the best option for poke, which is why I’m giving them a 3.

I am giving one star because I cannot give 0 star. This place is a garbage. I paid $19 for a spicy tuna and salmon bowl. It looked like a full-filled bowl at first glance, but it was just filled with all the cheap side toppings such as onion, cucumber, and seaweed salad, and there were only total of 5-6 tiny fish cubes that are not even fresh. Seriously? Why am I paying this much for the crap? You can get more decent poke bowls from ANY other poke restaurants if you pay $19. This is absolutely the worst poke bowl I've ever had. I suggest not to purchase food from them.

Very poor service, rude people, unfortunately!Didn't get to eat the food, it came too spicy even though I didn't order the spicy one from the menu. Tried to exchange it and was treated like a crazy person. Ended up asking for a refund.

I work in the building so know that I am not a tourist, but you will be paying $19 and change for a poke bowl with quite literally under 3oz of fish. It is a true rip off unfortunately.

After completing a lap in the Gansevoort Liberty Market tucked into the Oculus, I went with Umai Fish since I was in a poke mood. I paid at the register and was given a buzzer. It ended up that my buzzer never buzzed, and I was wondering why my grub was taking such a long time. It's not like anything had to be cooked. Thankfully the cashier noticed my lengthy loitering and checked on my order. She was really apologetic. My tropical salmon poke bowl wasn't too bad and was filling, though I think it was somewhat overpriced at close to $20 including tax. And the mango maybe was a little past its prime. But overall, not bad. Though I'd try their prepared rolls next time!

I have been back many times for the Hawaiian poke bowl....the tuna is so fresh as are all of the vegetables. Absolutely amazing food. I have tried similar meals at other places and nothing comes close. So worth every penny. Can't wait to go back again.

I always go to this spot during my break from work. They always make the food fresh, and are very quick to make what you ordered. The employees are also very nice, especially Miranda, she is the sweetest person.

Miranda was extremely sweet and welcoming, the food is mega fresh and the flavors were very well balanced. Service was really quick and we'd definitely come back!

The sushi and miso soup were both wonderful! The staff are so kind and accommodating, especially when compared to the typical food court restaurants. I ordered the butterfly roll and after bringing it out, Miranda decided I needed some miso soup; both were delicious!!

Just ordered the Volcano Lobster roll, edamame with black salt, and miso soup here. It looked and tasted wonderful. I would post a picture but I devoured it before I even thought to. Miranda was very kind and personable. Her smile was contagious and lit up the kitchen. Thank you Umami Fish for a great meal and thank you Miranda for the superior customer service!

This is my first visit here at the Gansevoort Liberty Market in the Westfield Mall at the Freedom Tower. This was a tasty snack that was surprisingly inexpensive for sushi. - under $10. It's located in a very clean and open food court. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I look forward to coming back.
