Restaurant Manager Natalee Spotswood helped make our 25th Anniversary so special last night. USQ is still the best restaurant in NYC. We love celebrating here!
EVERYTHING. Quite possibly the best meal I’ve ever had. Who dreamt up tater tots with creme fraiche drizzled in caviar? 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Union Square Cafe offers an incredible dining experience with delicious meals like lobster risotto and duck appetizer. The staff provides excellent service, ensuring that every visit is enjoyable. Recently, guests have praised the great food and friendly waiters, highlighting the smooth operation of the restaurant. The atmosphere is welcoming, making it a great place for both special occasions and casual dining. Visitors have enjoyed creative cocktails, including a unique vanilla bourbon drink, and inventive appetizers, such as caviar on tater tots. While most dishes, like the flavorful lamb scottadito with whipped feta, perfectly cooked tilefish with mussels, juicy and crispy 1/2 chicken, and tender duck with toasted hazelnuts, have been well executed, some reviews noted that the tater tots with caviar did not meet expectations. Despite this, the overall experience remains positive, with attentive staff who cater to all needs. Union Square Cafe is highly recommended for anyone visiting NYC, though it may not be fully kid-friendly. Great wine pairings and exceptional hospitality further enhance the dining experience, making guests look forward to returning.
