We tried to taste as many pizza places in New York as we could and this place was great. Upside Pizza on 8th Ave and 39th is a great New York pizza. It's a cheap 99c pizza but very very tasty.
A solid place for a solid slice of pizza. I don't think it's one of those places that is worth going ojt of your way for. But if you're in the area I think it's worth a bite. I got their spicy vodka slice. It's got a very nice kick to it. I do recommend this slice!
Great for a quick pit stop when out and about. There are dozens of pizza spots in the surrounding area so, realistically, Upside Pizza is great for what it is. Small interior, with one standing table, and a couple other standing tables out front by the street. Grab a slice, a couple, or a whole box, and go.
