We order regularly from here. We've ordered 1-2 times every week for weeks on end. Black forest was our favorite. But today it was a very small piece compared to what we usually get. Also, the taste was off. And the ingredients and decorations at the back end were very different. Even the other pastry we ordered was very diff in taste and looks.Seems like they're turning into a money making business more than what it already is.Hopefully its a one off. Else, we'll sadly have to look someplace else.Pretty disappointing how the bakery does not respond or seem to care about any reviews anywhere .

Best tasting wedding cake I have ever had! Flowers and cake topper are from other vendors. The cake was truly a sight to behold, all of it edible and delicious! The communication was not the smoothest but you really cannot beat the quality of the cake.

Beautiful cafe dating from NYC's Gilded Age with an extensive menu of coffee drinks, pastries, and other baked sweets. I had a cappuccino and a vanilla lobster tail. The cappuccino was only okay but the filling in the lobster tail tasted like an angel made it: sweet and creamy but with a very light taste. The decor of stained glass ceilings and marble floors make for an elevated setting for an afternoon coffee.

With our short stay I was not able to get over to the location. I discovered I could get cookies via doordash! I am in LOVE! The BEST Italian cookies I have ever had! EVER! The dasher was exceptional. Had my cookies within an hour! Thank you, Veniero's!! Cannot wait to order more! Delighted to see you ship!

Nice place to have desserts, and they are good. However, please beware of an extremely rude store clerk in the store. I was looking at the menu to decide what to drink. One store clerk walked towards the menu I was looking at, literally picked it up, and put it outside of the store without saying a word to me (He probably saw me looking at the menu, got annoyed, and put it outside since). The store was not even packed with people (maybe 3-4 teams waiting for their order to come out), and I was utterly speechless. I understand that this is one of old/nice places to have Italian desserts, and I enjoyed my food. However, I would honestly never visit this place again due to this extremely rude behavior.

The pastries look really beautiful and tempting. But we've gone here twice and both times, the actual taste of the pastries is underwhelming. Very cute place though, with loads of options on the menu.

What is this? The strawberry shortcake was fresh, but the little custard creme tarts and macarons seemed a week old; the cream was dense. Even the tea was basic Lipton black tea. While the service and atmosphere were nice, the food was a disappointment. There are much better bakeries in NYC.

I came here to make a pilgrimage to this pastry bakery, which has been operated by a family for more than a century. It is a very authentic Italian dessert. Sorry, I made an appointment with a friend here to catch up with old times, but I ended up eating the cake without taking any photos while chatting...The three of us ordered New York cheesecake, tiramisu, and eclairs. Sorry for those who are reading this review, there are no photos of the food this time (I can only attach photos of people who have finished eating) and can only use the rest. Imaginative…

Classic NY-Italian bakery in all of the best ways. My family and I have been coming here for years. The cakes, cookies, and pastries have been featured on many of our holiday tables. One of my favorites. While their cheesecake varieties are amazing, (their Italian style is my favorite of their cheesecake varieties), I absolutely love and adore their Fruit Supreme Cake and their Strawberry Shortcake. Also the Sfogliatelle/lobster tail pastries are delicious! I favor the custard filling over the cream but to each their own, they also have chocolate filled ones. I appreciate that they have mini pastries like mini cannoli and others for when you want a small, quick treat but can’t take a larger pastry with you.
