Slava Ukraine! Great place for Ukrainian comfort food of the type shared by many Eastern European countries served informally in large quantities.

Restaurant is actually very pretty with floor to ceiling windows. Can be crowded at popular hours but line moves fast.

I enjoyed the latkes, pierogis and stuffed cabbage.

Prices are moderate in this friendly, fun place

My aunt and I came here for lunch. My aunt was very excited to introduce me to authentic Ukrainian food, Veselka was the perfect place to try lots of different authentic dishes. Everything from the appetizers, to the sides and of course the main meal offered different flavors and combinations I have never had before. My aunt and I are already looking for recipes to try to recreate the amazing meals we had here. The service was excellent, attentive and fast, even on a busy Saturday...

Always a good spot. Yummy meat and potato’s and beets. We sat at the counter and enjoyed the prep and cooking in front of us. Service was good and friendly. Typically service there is effective though it may not be ‘warm’ - this time it was both. It’s my go to spot when exploring the area and having a night out. Not fancy nor should it be.
