I’ve come here quite a few times lunch but likely won’t return. The amount of meat given recently in the sandwiches is ridiculous. My $15.25 Fuso had single piece of prosciutto that barely covered 3/4 of the bread and didn’t even completely fold on itself once. The slice was so thin I likely could have seen through it. It’s a shame too since the ingredients and recipes are unique.
Via Porta is our go to anytime we need a delicious but quick breakfast/lunch. My go to is always the avocado toast, which is truly the best I’ve ever had. The bread has a crunch without being impossible to cut through and still soft inside. They top it with arugula, sliced garlic, pickled onions, roasted red peppers and a few chile peppers. To die for. a few hits and misses here- the mushroom egg sandwich with crispy prosciutto has fallen off in quality. last few orders the bread has been soggy, overstuffed with eggs, and the meat is 90% fat (and isn’t crispy). the chicken parm take is awesome, as is the poptart pastry.
