Wayan Reviews
Great food. Great presentation. Very attentive service!
Wayan is my favorite restaurant! Everyone is so friendly and helpful, and the food is a flavor explosion in your mouth. There's also just a really cool vibe there. I went for my birthday (2nd year in a row), and I had the sashimi for the first time and it was sensational! It's now going to be a staple every time I go there, along with my other staples, the octopus a la plancha, the corn fritter, and the brussel sprouts. I also tried the lime pie with buttermilk ice cream. Incredible!...read full review

Wayan restaurant in NYC provides an exceptional dining experience with vibrant Indonesian cuisine. The menu includes delicious dishes like shrimp and scallop satays, crab rice, and the highly recommended lobster noodles. The ambiance is elegant and stylish, creating a memorable culinary journey for guests. The service is attentive, with staff quickly accommodating large groups and serving food efficiently. While some diners found that the food, although good, lacked the punch typical of Southeast Asian cuisine, many still enjoyed the flavors and freshness. The lobster noodles stand out, drawing regular visitors who appreciate the meal's quality. Guests have noted that the restaurant week menu is impressive, offering a generous amount of food. Overall, Wayan is a must-visit destination in Manhattan for those seeking a remarkable dining experience with delicious food and gracious hospitality.
