It used to be my go to Wolfgang's location. However I'm afraid it is loosing its charm. My Old Fashioned cocktail that costs $21 was just a splash of bourbon over ice with an orange peel. And my $80 NY strip steak that I asked to be medium (which in majority of steak houses means “medium rare”) was pretty much well done. When you pay $200 per person it is not an experience you expect from a quality steak house.
The best steakhouse I’ve ever been to. The food is amazing, the staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is very nice. I would 100% recommend if you are visiting New York. The hospitality from the staff is amazing.
Restaurant was more crowded than expected for 6:30pm on a Thursday night. We got 2 slices of bacon as an appetizer......mine had 2 very long hairs in it. They brought me another slice with a “no one working has long hair so idk how the hair ended up there”. I was honestly surprised they didn't even offer to comp me the 1 piece of bacon ($15+).
