I’ve been going to Xe May for over a decade now and it’s still my number one banh mi spot in the city. The crusty French bread and house-made pickles are what keep me coming back. My go-to is the Lambretta, the coconut curry lamb is to die for, but you honestly can’t go wrong with anything on this menu

I love this place. Great great bahn mi. I always get the curry lamb bahn mi. Nothing to say but amazing.

Better for takeout since there’s limited to no seating inside.

Xe May is hands down one of the best spots in the East Village for a banh mi fix!

The sandwiches are packed with flavor — fresh herbs, crispy baguettes, and yummy fillings

It’s a quick grab-and-go kind of place (no seating inside), but totally worth it. Plus, they have a punch card
