Great value friendly Greek food in a busy setting. Souvlaki, falafel, salad all good. All the wine choices were Greek - could have been our choice but the rose wasn't great.
Every time we visit, we're seated in the side room whether or not we have a reservation. That area is always uncomfortably loud, and unfortunately, it takes away from the overall experience. The staff usually explains it's due to the size of our party, but this has happened even with groups of four or six. It's disappointing, especially given how much we enjoy the food and the rest of the ambiance.
Friendly service. Food was very tasty. Lunch Skewers were a little anemic in their size. Only fours medium shrimp for $18? Outdoor area w umbrellas nice. Area in front of the restaurant was like a vinyl oven
Amazing food! I couldn't be happier! Thank you for such great wine recommendations, service, and food!
First time dining here and will be back. Everything was delicious and fresh and well executed. Branzino was perfectly seared and enough to share. Horiatiki was a bit weird with slivered onions but otherwise very good.
The restaurant has an amazing bartender named Brett. He was attentive, professional and friendly. When we were seated our waitress was also wonderful. The ambiance is nice and the food is average and not expensive.
The food never disappoints. However...we were four people dining tonight, each ordering a salad with a skewer of protein. We were served some pita to start but since they only brought four small triangles, they were eaten before our meal came. I asked for more pita which seemed reasonable. We were rushing to get to a show and paid the bill quickly. Only then did I notice that we were charged for the “extra” pita. It seems petty that they charged extra for it AND the waiter neglected to tell us there was an extra charge.
We recently visited this new restaurant and were absolutely blown away! The food was incredible, the atmosphere was lovely, and the service was top-notch. My personal favorites were the Lamb chops, Dakos salad, and Calamari – all cooked to perfection. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!
Abundant inexpensive Greek. Pre made and served five seconds after you order. The appetizers looked good , chicken very dry and cold. Rice cold. I'd rather wait 10 minutes for food. Waiter very nice. Rather spend more money for better meal and atmosphere. This was second time. Figured we would try again
I was late to my reservation but they were accommodating even though they were very busy. Thank you so much!!

We went to Yasouvlaki in advance of a concert at 92Y. Was our first time there. The staff is very cordial and friendly. Our server, Cameron, was top shelf. Triple checked on a potential nut allergy issue before taking our dessert order. She gave us enough privacy but made sure we were well taken care of. The food was solid. I had the avgolemono soup and it was hearty and hot, just what the doc ordered on a raw February evening. My main was a delicious salad in which I added grilled chicken. Tasty and good. My partner had a different salad and was equally satisfied. For dessert, we shared an incredible Greek cheesecake with sour cherries. Thick, creamy, not too sweet and the cherries were amazing. We'll be back.
went here with a few friends, expecting just another simple nyc dinner spot and this place really turned out to be the best part of our day. the service, the an atmosphere, the food - each post it the experience here was one to remember. it felt comfortable being here, and the quality of the food made everything better
It's my neighborhood haunt! Great food. Great service. Down to earth atmosphere. Kind of perfect.
Wonderful Greek food if you find yourself in Yorkville. It's definitely a neighborhood hangout. We were surrounded by regulars. We had the dip trio, spiced salmon, and Souvlaki platter. Servings were generous, and every dish was outstanding. Excellent service from the moment we entered the restaurant, until we walked out the door. Will definitely return.
My favorite Greek restaurant on the Upper East side! Never disappoints !
