Milk tea was very diluted
On Tuesday, there’s a promo in which classic bubble tea is $3.15 and after tax, it’s $3.40. Tasted average but they had mini boba in it which is pretty chewy/soft. However, there was no taste to it. Didn’t taste sweet, really plain. Seems to be only one worker doing the front and kitchen. My drink was ready within a couple of min. Atmosphere was not it. The music was super soft and boring, makes people feel sleepy.
Not the same I used to always buy this when I could when I was i living around Asia and there was a branch but if it's different since US
I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Yi Fang in NYC Chinatown is a rip-off. Either their cashier cannot take orders correctly or pretends to make mistakes to charge you more money. I went on a Tuesday which has a 1/2 price promotion on their plain medium bubble tea (which should be $3.15); instead I got charged $6.25 for a pearl black tea latte. Don't know if that's the same thing, but the half price and full price doesn't add up. At the time, I didn't think to look at the receipt because the dude already messed up the other drinks on the same order and I had to correct him so he won't overcharge me for the wrong drinks. And I can't go back to the shop to complain because I'm not in the area during their working hours much. ARGH! So annoyed! Don't Go To This Place!!! (btw the website on their receipt doesn't even exist.)
The quality of the milk and tea they use to make bubble tea is very good. Not artificial like some other places that I’ve tried. Will definitely be coming back to try other drinks!

Poor front desk Service. The place was completely empty and the register person didn’t want to be bothered to help. He didn’t even know his own menu and told me he didn’t have any lemon tea, even tho it was on menu. When I asked for a topping he said he didn’t have it and when I asked what topping he has he just pointed at menu and said look for yourself. No wonder the tea shops next door are full and this one was completely empty.

TLDR- Awkward customer service and poor drink quality (esp for how overpriced it is), not really worth another visit.
Ordered ahead online and came by 20 minutes later to pick up. The mustache boy just stared at me blankly and called over a colleague, they were looking over their computer while mumbling and ignoring my presence. They both looked dejected and unwelcoming. It seems they missed my order so I said I could come back if they're still working on it since I was picking up other things nearby. Once again, no response and won't even look my way now. I guess they assumed I didn't speak Chinese because I overheard them whining about how annoying this was. There was nobody else in the store when I arrived, no other digital orders coming in, and I was not being difficult. Just waited. When the drinks were ready, I thanked them. And once again, same blank stare no words. Not sure if there's a boba burn out or something, but this interaction was very bizarre. Also, the drinks tasted watered down so that was lame after a long wait.
1 star for store cleanliness and 1 more star for their consideration to bag up the drinks so I could carry it out despite the almost entirely silent interaction.

There are soooo many Boba shops in China Town. This one is So delicious! I enjoyed a coconut latte, which was coffee based and delicious. I actually was still in the neighborhood once I was done with my drink so I went back for another. My husband enjoyed a grapefruit green tea initially and found it yummy so he went back to get a watermelon coconut fruit tea. Another fabulous choice. Great service! They accept all payment types, including Apple Pay. Special mention… My phone was about to die and the cashier actually let me charge for a bit while I waited for my order. Super nice people there! Definitely will be back whenever I’m down in China Town!

I was really excited to try this place, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. The service was extremely slow and unwelcoming. The cashier’s attitude is rude, he didn’t greet me when I came in, and he seems very annoyed. Then I waited like 10 minutes for a mango sago, I came in during off-peak hours and I was the only one in that store. When I finally got my drink, the taste is very blank and lacking any real flavor. For the price of 9 dollars, I expected something much better. There are way better options in the area, I definitely won’t be coming back.
I always visit this place when I hit Chinatown so fresh.

Super recommended, everything is delicious, whatever you choose, try it without a doubt.
For a hot day ordering an iced tea with tapioca pearls with lots of ice and less sugar was fabulous.

We enjoyed it more than the rating says (3.6)
Very slow service, employees are more focused about their personal conversations than making drinks.
