We were recently disappointed with food at Sunday brunch at an upscale place. Today we stopped on a lark here en route to a nearby farm market for their fresh apples and cider. Oilcloth table covering as I had growing up. Menu paper resting in plastic sheet covers with circle metal holders. Candy store & bakery in another room. One might say homey, others perhaps a dive.
