“Was in the area working and decided to have lunch here. The place has a very large menú to chose from so I was a bit hesitant on that. Usually places with large menus tend to have a hard time keeping items fresh, but no not here at hell's kitchen the food was great flavor and taste are great. I ordered a chicken gyro platter. The gentleman behind the counter insisted I try the empanadas so I did and it was very good. The crust was very crispy and flaky just like a traditional empanada and it was stuffed with spicy chicken. I wish I would have ordered a few more. I recommend stopping by if you are in the area.“

“As a city fam who are used to crowds and mediocre service, this was a breath of fresh air. Our food came within seconds of placing an order. The place was not crowded, well equipped with condiments and napkins (which normally you'd have to beg in any city fast food restaurant lol). A great place for a quick bite.“

“I went today specifically for the Grinch Meal limited time offer. You get to choose from a Big Mac or a 10 piece Chicken McNuggets. The meal includes medium fries, a drink, dill pickle season salt, a bag to shake up the salt with the french fries and a sealed bag containing one of 4 varieties of The Grinch socks. Let's not forget the box it comes in!! Truly a Happy Meal for Adults!! The Grinch is all over this thing!!.

To say this little indulgence made me happy is really not covering the excitement I had today when they handed me this box!! Is this what a child feels when they get a Happy Meal?!?
I chose the Big Mac version. Of course, it was delicious , as always. The french fries I wasn't sure I wanted to sacrifice to the Dill Pickle flavor entitely so instead I took a few and sprinkled the flavoring on. Although what they want you to do is empty the french fries into the shaker bag, add the flavoring and then shake it up. For myself , these few fries were enough to get the idea. Heavy on the vinegar flavor, I didn't get the pickle as a strong flavor. And the socks...I would say mid-calf length and a nice medium weight. Not a thin or flimsy sock. Bright vivid colors.
The deal won't last long. The Grinch may not approve but he definitely put a big Whoville smile on my face today!!“

“We loved our dinner. My husband and I are plant based and we were happy there were so many options for us. I had the delicious falafel burger and my husband had the black bean burgers. Our non plant based family had the crispy chicken burger. We shared sweet potato fries, sweet potato tater tots and onion rings. The onion stayed in the coating when you bit in to them. We all enjoyed our meal very much. Our waiter was great and we loved the atmosphere of the restaurant.“

“I'll start off by saying with only 1 person working the grill the guy deserves a medal for how fast he accommodated a family of 6. We tried pretty much the whole menu. I enjoyed the tots and fries but not crazy about the onion ring batter it was quite thick. Burgers were what you'd expect but the real star for me was the crispy chicken sandwhich. I got it with pickles, mayo and added pepper jack cheese - it was bomb.“

“We found Local Burger last year and have visited many times since. The food is delicious, the service is fantastic and the Owner, Alyssa truly cares about her customers. Last visit we had Kerri as our server and she really did great. We opted to sit in the back to avoid the Saturday night crowd. We were concerned the service might be slow because we were the only ones in the back but we were wrong. Kerri came back within the first 5 minutes to greet us and take our order, she was friendly and pleasant. Our drinks came back just a few short minutes later followed by our food shortly after. Kerri also came back pretty regularly to check on us. All in all, we had a great experience at Local Burger. If you want a good burger, I highly recommend you try it if you haven't already. Also, this is a small business so better to support them than the big, corporate chains that only care about money.“

I ordered a triple smash cheeseburger with the fries and washed it all down with 2 flat tires. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friend and family and would plan to go back soon. The burger was cooked to perfection and the fries were just right. The server was extremely attentive and made sure my and my cousin were well taken care. “I was greeted by the most pleasant, professional young lady named Ayanna. She immediately brought us to the table of our choice and then inform us that she would also be our server. She did not leave until she informed us of menu options that she thought we might be interested in and asked us if there was anything that we needed right away. When I told her to give us a little bit of time, she pleasantly agreed and did hesitate to frequently check on us to see if she could meet our needs. I ordered a cocktail for myself and a drink for my son, who accompanied me, and we placed our dinner order. Our food was served promptly and it was hot and delicious. Throughout dinner, she checked on us frequently to ensure we had everything that we needed. She also made pleasant conversation which I greatly appreciated as this was my first time at an Applebee’s location. She has gained you a customer for life. They exceed or meet the food quality of a full-size store. We were asked if we needed any extra sauces with a smile. I have now found a stop on my route and will stop by again.“

“Stopped by Ends Meat Eats on a cold day, and man — this place hit the spot! I ordered the lobster burger and pulled pork tots with Dr Pepper BBQ sauce, and both were absolutely phenomenal. The lobster burger was buttery, perfectly seasoned, and loaded with flavor — you could tell it was made fresh and with care. The pulled pork tots? Unreal. Crispy on the outside, tender pulled pork inside, and that Dr Pepper BBQ sauce ties everything together with the perfect mix of sweet and smoky.

What really made the experience stand out was the owner — super friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about the food. It honestly felt like eating at a friend’s house who just happens to be an incredible chef. “My family and I visited on Sunday, November 16, 2025, and had Gianna as our server. She greeted us with a smile and gave us time to decide what we wanted to order. She made appetizer recommendations, and we went with the loaded fries.

The main meal arrived HOT; maybe I should have waited just a minute to sample my skillet meal! Gianna was always available for us and made sure that our glasses were never empty. She is a valuable asset to Applebee's East Islip.
