Elijah Churchill's Public House

Just stopped in for a very early dinner while passing through town. It's usually a red flag when there is no one else in the place but we were pleasantly surprised. Food was absolutely delicious, we had the French onion soup, salad and the seafood combo, and I kid you not they were the most perfect French fries I have ever had. Wish I lived closer. Service was very friendly also!

The food is great and the menu changes every so often, so there's usually something new to try here. The service is great as well. They have live music here and there (I'm not in here a lot so I'm not familiar with the schedule). The owner (I believe he's the owner) is usually out seating guests and checkig in on the food. Great to see a business owner taking such a hands-on approach.

Went to see a band we were chasing (Perfect Strangers), who by the way were wonderful! The food was close to being very good, but missed the mark. First off, our menu's were still on our table when we left. I would think once we ordered our entree, they'd be gone. Started with drinks and the Mexican nacho's (2 of us).
