From expertly shucked clams on the half shell to the tasty Bronzino and lobster pasta, the meals are very good, fresh, and nicely presented. The service is very good with friendly and personable wait staff. The overall ambience is outstanding and peaceful, featuring a true waterfront experience with a gorgeous water view from every angle, making it a top spot on Long Island. The lobster roll and salad with chicken are noted as tasting super fresh. While some dishes like the swordfish, scallops, and shrimp pasta may vary in quality, the yellowfin tuna is flavorful with a great sauce. Recent visits include a memorable baby shower, where the food and servers received high praise, and regular customers enjoy the helpful and friendly staff. During a Labor Day weekend visit, guests enjoyed outdoor dining with a Caribbean steel band, which created a fun and getaway-like vibe. Appetizers, cocktails, and especially the tender baby back pork ribs, which fall off the bone, made the experience even more special. With great drinks and top-notch service, The View remains highly recommended for a delightful dining experience.
