“Best tacos ever . I’ve been a client since the Sombrero truck on Market St in between Checkers and post office . Then they moved to union blvd . I’ve taken my immediate family ,taken friends , when my outer states visitors come is the first place they get taken to also!! Really everything is made fresh and there’s not one dish I can pick over another !! Can’t wait to get back from Puerto Rico to get some real tacos !!! Pa alante !!!“

“Had an amazing GF experience! Service was top notch and so friendly. All the tacos and sides were the kind you never want to end. Even got some in lettuce wraps. Recommend: Everything! Stand out tacos: Mahi-mahi, shrimp, short rib, friend calamari. Sides: street corn, rice & beans, charred broccoli. Dessert: Churros!“

“Taco Thursday’s! Who doesn’t like a taco? Food is very fresh and best Mexican food around. Margaritas are made fresh with squeezed limes not a mix. One of my favorite places for Sunday breakfast! Everyone is very friendly and welcoming.“

“Walked the Tappan Zee Bridge from Rockland to Westchester and made our way to the Taco Project for awesome Chicken Tacos and some Mango Margaritas! After all we earned it! 😉 Will definitely be back again and will recommend to all my friends!“

“Just came here for the first time. Ordered a Carne Asada Burrito and Guac and Chips $35 total. The Burrito was spectacular and so were the guac and chips! The atmosphere was very authentic. I felt like I was in a Mexican colmadon (deli). I loved the vibe. I walked from home. So this will be a local favorite of mine. Thank you.“

“Stopped for lunch and we were more interested in having sangria than in eating as we were not overly hungry. Have to say the staff were attentive and the food was ok but we paid $35 for a pitcher of white sangria that was very watered down. I had the bistec poblano and he had crispy calamari.“

“I used to go to the one in Middletown, NY when I was a kid. The inside decor is fun 🤩 with a nod to theme restaurants of the past. I very much enjoyed my entree with a jalapeño sauce and a white sauce, the margarita was a bit sweet, the guacamole 🥑 appetizer was excellent and freshly made. We will definitely go back to with our kids. Prices were fairly high from $25 to $35 per entree, but I understand in 2023 with inflation at a time highs, everything has increased in price. Overall, a fun and authentic restaurant which is oriented to celebrations.“

“I work in the neighborhood and I came across this place one day. The food is amazing, homemade, fresh and made with love.
My favorite for breakfast are eggwhites with Chorizo, hot peppers and bacon on a roll. By the way, the ladies working there are so friendly as if they are welcoming you into their home with open arms. ❤️“

“Amazing trays of 30 tacos and all veggies on the side! Plus we grabbed some Empanadas too! Today was the perfect day for us to try them since we were right at the mall! The owner was too sweet and brought us all kinds of things to try while we were waiting! The Biria was to die for and he brought us this Mexican Pizza absolutely mouthwatering! It is inside the gas station across from the Palisades! Seriously such good authentic Mexican food! He says you can even call and ask what his special is. He tries different things every week! “The place had been closed for a while but the reopened and the carnitas tacos are still excellent. Highly recommend. Best tacos in the world. So far the best tacos I have had in Yonkers. I always get the carnitas tacos and they are always so flavorful and the place is simple but nice and clean. The carnitas are always tender. I also get the horchata. This is the place I always go to for Taco Tuesdays. Hands down the best chimichanga in the area, the service is great and the people are very friendly. I've been here several times and never had to wait long for my food. A must of your looking for good authentic Mexican food.“

“Food was great. Tacos could have more filling but tasted good for what it was. Chicken fajitas were good and the sauce for the shrimp a la diabra was amazing.
Service was a bit inattentive.
The tables and chairs were filthy. I had to use at least 5 wipes to wash down the high chair, each wipe was BLack with filth.“

“I had the steak burrito at the Piscataway location today and it did not disappoint. Excellent food and the nachos with Nutella are fire. They had so many fresh made salsa and bottled hot sauce to put on my burrito. I think I found my new Mexican spot. Can't wait to try more of the menu. Highly recommend. 10/10“

“My friend and I went here for dinner 11/12/2023. We ordered beef nachos as an appetizer, delicious. He had the burrito with rice and beans. Rice needed a bit more flavor. He also had the beef tacos. I had to chicken sopes, that was delicious. Good atmosphere.“

“Tacos CDMX is one of if not the BEST taco spot I have found in all of New Jersey. As a Mexican that has been in Ciudad de Mexico, these replicate the same authentic mexican tacos and atmosphere! “Have been going here for 20+ years now. Food is always fast and consistent and they have the best chimichangas anywhere. I've been unable to find ones anywhere else that come close! I used to live nearby but now that i moved out of state, i always make it a point to stop here when back in the area.“
