About Duryea’s Orient Point

Duryea's Orient Point offers tasty food, with standout dishes including grilled lamb chops and the Domato salad. The restaurant features a beautiful location with a beachy decor and open-air dining overlooking the water, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The food presentation is beautifully plated, fresh, and delicious, making it a favorite for many visitors. The atmosphere is excellent, and the setting feels like a sunny Mediterranean place, especially when the weather is just right. Customers are encouraged to bring their friends and enjoy family-style service, with meals like the Lobster Cobb salad and Mediterranean Hummus being highly praised. The great vibe, stunning ocean view, and DJ spinning music create a very chic venue where guests dress to impress.

Despite the lovely environment and great food, the ordering and service style can be unusual. Guests must fill out a checklist for their order, pay upfront at the counter, and then wait for their food without traditional waitstaff service. Some find it odd that they must tip before seeing if the service is acceptable and must repeat the process to order more pita or drinks. For an upscale, pricey restaurant, some expect decent service and feel the system is a rip-off for the price point. However, the pleasant and attentive staff helps make the visit enjoyable. Overall, while the service process may seem unusual, many enjoy the delicious food, beautiful setting, and excellent view enough to want to return.

Fantabulous place but bring a blank credit card!

Beautiful location and amenities. With the weather just right, it feels like you are abroad in some a sun swept Mediterranean location. Come by boat, by car, and sea plane (if thats your thing) : )
Bring your appetite and your friends for the food is served family style.
The chicken and steak were delicious as was the lobster. Though there is no full bar, you will not be lacking. Don't worry if you are in need of a greater assortment of libations. There are great bars nearby....read full review

The atmosphere is excellent. The place looks fantastic, and the food was terrific. It was my first time here since Duryea’s took over. I was not aware of how the restaurant was. No one explained that we had to place our order and pay for it before they brought out the food to us. After half an hour, I asked someone, and they looked at me weirdly, but explained to me that we needed to check the mark what we wanted and then go to the cashier to pay for the food. I left a great...read full review
