“I was BLOOOOWWWWNNNN AWAAAAYYY! I was expecting an average buffet but when I walked in I immediately noticed how clean it was and it SMELLED GOOD (not like dirty rags or a sour carpets like most buffets do)! the selection is ENORMOUS my stomach wasn’t big enough to try everything! they have a seafood boil and oysters, which was my favorite, plus octopus salad next to their seaweed salad. their crab cakes taste exactly like crab rangoons. they have american food items as well, if you eat meat try the chicken wings (I don’t eat meat and they looked so good I almost picked one up haha). only criticism I have is: the lo mein noodles are spaghetti noodles and I wish it was traditional lo mein. I will go back to the buffet this week and add pictures to this review!Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetables, rice, fruit, sushi and salads. if you are pescatarian, even better. you’ll be stuffed with all the fresh seafood options.“

“The food is good. It has a decent selection to choose from. You have to wash your hands before serving yourself. That's a plus for me ! The lady at the checkout service needs some customer service classes. She never smiles or greets you. I have to say thank you , have a nice day. I'm lucky if I get a response in return. The food is by weight . So be wary of how much you put in your food container. It's expensive !!Vegetarian options: There is a small salad bar . But plenty of steamed vegetables. There are some fish options too.“

“Tasty fresh and affordable.- They have salad bar (not self service) where you can get a large salad with chicken, cheese (including fresh mozzarella!) and 3 other toppings for ~$11 (take that, sweetgreen!). The salad bar guy was really friendly and will ask you about exact portions for dressing etc.- They also have a hot and cold bar with other stuff that wasn’t fancy but looked good (including some fish)“

“I usually enjoy Umi's on Wednesday for lunch. The food is always fresh and plenty to choose from. The price is reasonable for lunch and dinner. The waiters are attentive and I have recommend several friends to treat themselves. I thank the cooks and the entire staff. Also, the decor is an upgrade from the previous owners.“

“I bought some dishes from this spot a while ago. It's a neighborhood and Caribbean food spot. I bought chicken for family and shrimps for myself. It was okay. Well seasoned and no complaints. It's been a while, maybe I should pay them a visit on a day I don't make my delicious homemade dishes. Service was okay back then, so hopefully it's better. The atmosphere is all about come in, order, pick up your food and leave. It's not a hangout spot. I'll revisit again! #foodieforlyfe“
“The food was fantastic and for VERY affordable prices (for non- students such as perspectives too!) They were very nice there and the cashier guided me to all my needs. They supply incredible Star K kosher food as well! Sadly even though the hall was packed it seemed as if everyone were very isolated from one another, like everyone tried to be alone.“

“Less seafood selection now. The wait to get in is also shorten as well, no more 20+ minutes wait instead it is 5 minutes. Plenty of parking, the only thing I would say something about is that when I want to pay I can't find the waiter to take my payment.“

“Aqueduct is what it is - winter thoroughbred racing in New York. It's never going to be Belmont or Saratoga. But - especially for the Derby prep weekend races in March and April - there is a good time to be had here. The third floor restaurant, Equestris is especially nice. If you use the owner's entrance on the south side of the building (same side as the big horse and jockey mural) and take the elevator straight to the third floor you won't experience anything unsightly or unpleasant. And once you get into the Equestris Restaurant its really nice - white linen tables, friendly hostess, and (importantly) well-to-do patrons. There's a dress code at Equestris. You don't need a suitcoat or blazer but you will want to be dressed nicely. If you want to wear a really good suit and look sharp (or put on a nice dress and jewelry) you will not be alone. This is where the owners go to watch and eat - often with friends and family. The buffet is excellent and the waitstaff is attentive. If you want to go watch some races at trackside, you'll need to take the escalator down a couple of floors and wade through the unwashed masses, but that's nothing you haven't done or seen before as a racing fan. The bathrooms I experienced were fine. I've been to Aqueduct a handful of times and never had a particularly bad experience - its just not Belmont in spring or Saratoga in summer, and it never will be.“
