“Wanted to give a huge shout out to the Tap Room (Patchogue) (specifically the Patchogue location). We were invited to a family party, buffet-style. I reached out to the restaurant via email, because I wanted to make sure they could accommodate my daughters food allergies -- eggs, soy, sunflower seeds, tree nuts and peanuts, or I would plan ahead and pack snacks she could safely eat instead. The Culinary Director, Joseph Walsh, called me the next day. He spoke to me for awhile, went over her food allergies, made some suggestions, and assured me that he would come up with something she could safely eat. The morning of the party, he sent me an email to confirm we were coming and his suggestions for a safe meal (rice and beans sauteed with bell peppers, chicken cutlet w/ no egg, and a mixed fruit salad). I emailed him back that just rice and beans and the fruit salad would be fine, because she doesn't eat chicken. He emailed me back, concerned that rice and beans and a fruit salad wouldn't be enough, but I assured him it would be fine because she's only 7 and has anxiety over trying new foods at restaurants (understandably), so sticking with rice and beans and fruit salad, which she's comfortable with, would be perfect. At the event, Joseph told my relative that he wanted to talk to us, and when we arrived, he came to introduce himself, told me that he was making sure everything was prepared separately and would be ready for her shortly. Absolutely fantastic service. We truly, truly appreciated all his care and effort, because that's sadly not the norm most of the time when we try to eat out. “Tremendous amount of food with extra meat. 3 mixed grill dishes and a 12 piece chicken wings is what we ordered. New owners and generous portions we added extra meat. Excellent tasting and deliciously seasoned. Keep up the great work folks. Don't change a thing. Pleasantly surprised.“

“I don't eat fast food a lot, but the Burger King on Medford Ave in Patchogue is one of the few places I enjoy. The food is exactly what one would expect from such a franchise; not much to report there that people don't already know. What sets this restaurant apart is the team and the atmosphere. From the counterstaff to the manager, I am greeted with eagerness and a smile. And not one of those fake corporate smiles; they genuinely make me feel welcome. The service is fast and attentive to detail. The facility itself is also clean, and has comfortable seating with wifi and private nooks that make it a great place to sit down with my laptop to get some work done. My business, Vision Martial Arts, is just a few buildings down, and while I love it there, a quick change of scenery and a bite to nosh on is sometimes needed to get the entrepreneurial juices flowing.
