“Food was delicious I got the chicken roasted pepper panini with cheddar cheese came with cole slaw fries and a pickle my cousin got the chicken souvlaki wrap which also came with fries cole slaw and a pickle for takeout. We got a cheddar cheeseburger deluxe from my cousins birthday dinner and I ordered a quart of chicken noodle soup since it's very cold but our waitress was very nice great Service will definitely be coming back“

“I have lived near this diner for over 9 years now. Although I pass it often, there is something about the dark curtains that seem to be always closed that was not inviting. Perhaps it's just me, but I like to look in a restaurant and see people laughing and enjoying their meal. I digress. My wife and I met another couple there at their suggestion. Immediately upon entering, I was impressed by the ambiance and warm greetings. Because all of us, for one reason or another, we're cooties adverse we a asked to be seated away from what seemed to be a cluster of people. Perhaps that is easier for the wait staff. Our request was honored with ease since this place is deceptively large. I ordered my "test meal", chicken parm with spaghetti ?, extra sauce. I posit that this is so basic that if any restaurant can't make that plate well, the prognosis is negative for anything more complicated. Also ordered was a BLT and a Cobb salad. The service was very good ?? food presentation was excellent, and there was a good time had by all. The BLT and the Cobb salad got thumbs up ??. I liked the flavor of my chicken ? parm also. Bland food is a problem in this area. My only slight complaint is that my chicken breast was appropriately thick but slightly overcooked. NOT A DEAL BREAKER AT ALL. I would rather have a thicker cut that was a little dry than the thin cutlets that are being floated as an adequate meal. The bathroom was clean and odor free. I absolutely would return to them again.“

“Family oriented diner in the mall. I expected to see prices higher than they would be in any other diner, they were not. Generous portions. Lots of house Guatamalan dishes (excellent). Service was impeccable, we were checked on frequently, kind courteous. Atmosphere is as you would expect in a diner.“

The exterior is simple and yet on any given morning, the parking lot is always packed and today, I finally found out why.The whole building is charming. Walking in you kind of feel like you entered into an old school kind of diner situation. Even on a crowded day the restaurant feels spacious and you don’t get the “congested,” noisy feeling of your typical small town restaurant.While I wasn’t a fan of the gray interior, there’s great artwork on the walls and a lot of natural light brightening everything up. Service was speedy and it was always relatively easy to find someone to top off your coffee or grab what you needed.The prices at Karen’s are great! I ordered the Polish Special for $10.50, I believe, and a corn muffin. The Polish Special came with kielbasa, two eggs, toast, and home fries. Everything was delicious, especially the corn muffin—definitely one of the best I’ve had. On a slightly negative note, I felt like the kielbasa could have been a little crispy and I was a little put off by how the coffee was served in paper cups.All things considered though, given the great atmosphere, I’m looking forward to making this a regular spot for a weekend meal.“
“I had a healthy bowl with Cali rice, turkey burger alva Alvarado and broccoli (which btw was cooked perfectly) that was very good. Wait staff was fairly good, very pleasant when at our table, but we did have to find staff and request some basics like milk for the coffee. Prices were good too. Overall, a positive dining “
“The waitress I had was very sweet..The pancakes were ok, everyone likes them differently, they were thick and fluffy, I like them thin and moist and Im not one of those people that drenches them in syrup and butter..The rest of my breakfast food was delicious, I would suggest to use your own judgement on the pancakes..“
“This is your typical diner. They have a variety of food options. Our table of 8 received good service, and we all enjoyed our food. This is diner food- so as long as you don’t have high and unreasonable expectations, you should have a good experience too. We were a bit surprised on the prices though. The prices are definitely higher than the average diner, with the average plate being between $15-$20.“
