“This was my 3rd time here & my only critique was I believe our waitress was new because she forgot to ask us about ordering drinks & never came to see how our meal was. HOWEVER! We didn’t need anyone to ask… because it was PHENOMENAL! I had the Parmesan crusted Chilean Sea Bass special, which was by far the most amazing sea bass I’ve ever had! It was incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked in the most delicious garlic butter sauce! I was lapping it up with the bread after. Finished the meal with a decadent espresso martini & perfect crème brûlée. Going back tomorrow - praying they didn’t sell out of the the sea bass! ????❤️ The manager, David, was so attentive & personable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!“
“David and Michelle are fabulous chefs and the wider Brewster area could not be luckier to have them!! The straddle that very tricky divide between bread and pastry, doing both very well. I love great pastry and have been looking for a place like this for years. We drive 25 minutes to get there with no regrets! Thanks guys for joining the pantheon of wonderful pastry shops! We are beyond grateful ?Dietary restrictions: They meet most dietary restrictions as well.“
“Food price / quality (value) rating 8. I feel they're a little bit over priced for what you're getting. Check these charges for our dinner for two, that are considerably higher than comparable restaurants. Although I really like this place, where your meal includes bread and a salad (not a given at restaurants today), my opinion is that they are priced about 15% higher than competitive and comparable restaurants.“
“Could have sworn that I'd reviewed this place already - been many times, never once had coffee that wasn't superb. They made me an extra foamy latte a few days ago that I'm still thinking about. Very friendly owner and staff, very cozy place to chill. A very, very welcome independently owned oasis in a vast desert of Dunkins.“
“Great spot that serves locally sourced grass fed burgers, and Connecticut-owned soda and chips. Carl was really kind and gave us a tour of the menu and the care that's put into the chosen ingredients. Nice, clean ambiance indoors, as well as an outdoor area. The burger and fries were great. Looking forward to coming back to try the pot pies! Definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area.“
“The workers in the front are always so accommodating, and sweet. The decoration in there are always so welcoming and aesthetically pleasing! The coffee is consistent with their taste and has a perfect amount of ice in it!! They also have a large variety of sandwiches and drinks!! Definitely a new bright spot in pawling that I would love to take my friends to hangout with!!“
“I just had the best chicken pot pie ever. I purchased it at Sapowski Farm store in Granby, MA. I am going to look into if the pies are sold anywhere else because Sapowski’s is closed for the season. Again the best chicken pot pie ever!“
“So happy they are still in business. Haven't been here in YEARS. still see familiar faces still feels like home, warm and friendly. The food... Unbelievable order a Bend over Martini and order an Uber. Family style food EVERYTHING ON THE MENU IS GREAT!!! literally ordered everything on the menu!“
“Food price / quality (value) rating 8. The atmosphere is "country tavern". We split a blue cheese bacon burger and had a couple drinks. The menu is quite diverse, offering pretty much everything you'd want at a tavern, and the prices are reasonable. Local crowd, several tv's, and a large, nicely designed outdoor patio with a stage for live acoustic entertainment. A limited draught beer selection with a few typical U.S. brews, and a couple IPA's. Plenty of parking. Service was okay.“
“Asked for extra garlic on half of a large pizza. They actually put slices of garlic on it! ❤️ Slices of garlic! ❤️ I was expecting the usual processed minced garlic, but nope, they sliced garlic to put on my pizza. I'm really impressed. And the pizza was amazing!“
“I've been coming here since I was a kid and they had a location on mill plain road. I wish it was still there but I come to get Desert Moon all of the time. My favorite comfort food and the staff is so friendly every time I come to the mall.“
“This is one of the best pizzerias in ny outside of nyc !And the owner "iron man" is a true gentleman, he will sit and converse with patrons and make them feel like family. Deffinitly recommendedParking: Plenty of parking except for Friday and Saturday nights it tends to get quite crowded. A true sign of delicious food!“
“I’ve been coming here consistently on the weekends for the past 11 years and I can say I've never been to a better diner. The waitresses are phenomenal, always on it, friendly and hardworking. The restaurant itself is updated and cozy. Food is consistent and never disappoints. If you’re looking for a honest review, this is the one. Come here & see for yourself!Dietary restrictions: Extensive menuParking: At least 30 spotsKid-friendliness: Kind employeesWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp“
“Stumbled upon this gem by chance after finding my initial destinations closed or overly crowded. What a stroke of luck! The food was beyond amazing. Every dish we tried was a culinary delight, but the sancochó and goat stew were absolute standouts – truly unforgettable flavors that left us craving more.⬤“
“I have to recommend my best friend Molly Darcy to everyone alive. I've never eaten the food here but I can tell you right now it's divine I can sense it. The best times I've ever had here were when I was black out drunk with borderline liver failure. Every employee, bartender, and security guard I've ever spoken to or interacted with were the best humans to ever exist. Dj is always fire. The ambiance makes me feel at home every time I'm here. One down side of this place is the last stall of the woman's restroom is always clogged.“
“Food is always delicious and no matter how crowded it gets the service is fantastic!Dietary restrictions: They are able to accommodate my gluten and dairy allergies easily. Always delicious food and have never had a problem with allergic reactions or cross contamination.“
“Let’s be honest. The interior is outdated and leaves a lot to be desired, and the parking lot is a complete mess. However, the customer service is lovely and I was pleasantly surprised by how good the pizza was.Prices are reasonable and everything is fresh and well served. I would personally appreciate a larger menu and having the able pizza types on display to make the ordering process easier. This really seems like a “dial in” joint and it would be nicer if more tables were able to sit. But, given the quality of the pizza, I would happily stop in again.Parking: While spots are available, there is no depth to the parking lot. There is limited visibility on a busy road which depending on the time of day, may or may not be worth the effort.“
