“I have been coming to Munno’s for over 22 years. I have never had better penne vodka and I travel extensively gobbling up food in different states and in Europe. The staff is always friendly and willing to take an order for a tray of penne vodka to be ready for us the same day. My family is now obsessed with Munno’s as well!”

“Louie's On The Avenue has been our favorite local restaurant for years ..however last Friday Stephanie and her team knocked it out of the park! with 24 hours notice, they helped plan, decorate, cater and Host our impromptu wedding. It was fantastic. the decorations, the signature drinks, delicious apps, brilliant wait service and overall atmosphere was unbeatable! I cannot express our gratitude enough for making this a memorable event for both Steve and I. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts❤️ love love love you all!”

“The food is affordable, filling and delicious! I frequently go there after work to get an easy meal and they are always quick, super welcoming and I do think its pretty cool that you can get a bangin' mexican style burrito but with the fusion they have so many other options! I totally recommend trying this place if you haven't already! Also their app is a fantastic, the rewards are awesome and you cant beat 2 burritos, chips and salsa for $20!!! All the workers are welcoming and create a great atmosphere!”

The staff is incredibly friendly and kind—when I had my baby in one arm, they insisted on helping me carry my coffee to the car. “I will admit I have been slacking on my reviews since I went back-to-back on vacation three times. This local pizza place is a hidden gem that was introduced to us by my Aunt Deborah (Debbie) Langer, who always orders pizza here for my cousins. They have been ordering from here for well over five years. I figured I should give this place a chance since my aunt spoke highly of it. Surely enough, this pizza place did not disappoint. In fact, we have made it our favorite pizza place to enjoy as well. The owners and staff are remarkably generous! They seem to also get along so well with their regular customers that it is like their recurring customers become a part of their family. It is amazing to see this hospitality and kindness in a restaurant setting. I personally love the creativity of this restaurant and how every time I come there is a new type of pizza pie or new menu item. It is truly unique that they take ambition to be brave, creative, and test out new food items. Keep up the awesome work and looking forward to the next time I eat in or order out!”

“We always order takeout through doordash. Yesterday, we dine in to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The restaurant was very clean and tidy. The food was good as always, especially the crispy spicy tuna which we love most. We had a good time.”

“My go to is the sausage egg and cheese, but all their offerings are good. Excellent taste and can't beat the prices. Service is also quick and friendly. It's close to the train station too so I sometimes grab a bite to eat while I wait for the train.”

“Awesome place! Went here for a scoop with a couple coworkers after a hard day at work. I really appreciated their prices, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better deal. The kiddie scoop was three bucks, whether you got hard scoop or soft serve. I got coffee hard scoop. Most places have a surcharge for hard scoop, but this place doesn’t. I appreciate that kind of honest pricing. There are tables to sit at that are shaded and service was good. Coworker got their version of a blizzard and said it was really good. This place keeps it simple and does ice cream well.”

“Just moved to River Vale from Astoria Queens and tried this on my way home from the Gym (Retro in PR). First off I came in 15 mins before they closed and they were about to close the kitchen and reopend it to make my tacos so kindness already wins! However, the most important part …The Food. If you are expecting Michelin Star tacos then you should go to a Michelin Star restaurant. For anyone that says the food is not good is just bsing. This is a solid taco spot and good to eat on the go or for a quick lunch or dinner. I have had plenty of good tacos being from queens having some of the best taco spots in the world in my boro. This place would definitely compete has a solid neighborhood spot in Queens. Definitely worth going and eating. Plus the five tacos for 15 bucks is a pretty good deal in an inflationary world. Don't listen to the haters that say this food isn't good.”

“I can't say enough great things about Defiant! Last week we hosted a small wedding reception and it was perfect. We were able to do anything we wanted with the space we had (we didn't rent the entire place, just a few tables). The food was great, as usual! The beers and other drinks were great and the price was so reasonable! We were able to use all the games at the brewery, and we were even able to play Terminator 2 on the projector which was a major bonus. The staff was truly wonderful which made everything even better. The owner, the cook, and the bartender were all so friendly and helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better place to have a casual, and intimate wedding. Thank you guys SO much!”

“Love, love the roof-top bar!??Great vibes. Lovely acoustic duo singing my faves! Rooftop menu could use refurbishment . Bartenders are very attentive and pleasant. The music, when band was not singing, pipes out tunes on a new built -in system …. Please lower volume, difficult to talk to my friends. Rooftop is restricted to 25 y/o+.
