“I have been coming to Munno’s for over 22 years. I have never had better penne vodka and I travel extensively gobbling up food in different states and in Europe. The staff is always friendly and willing to take an order for a tray of penne vodka to be ready for us the same day. My family is now obsessed with Munno’s as well!”

“The food is affordable, filling and delicious! I frequently go there after work to get an easy meal and they are always quick, super welcoming and I do think its pretty cool that you can get a bangin' mexican style burrito but with the fusion they have so many other options! I totally recommend trying this place if you haven't already! Also their app is a fantastic, the rewards are awesome and you cant beat 2 burritos, chips and salsa for $20!!! All the workers are welcoming and create a great atmosphere!”

“First visit, got the Everything Bagel Calzone, they said it fed two, but it was just me. I ate half of it , and went up for a box, the guy said "wow you ate half's, I said "yeah you said it was good for two". Anyway, it could use less to no salt, as it was it was too salty for me. It was a good calzone nonetheless. It actually would have fed four to six, as garlic knots were attached to the calzone.

Second visit , ordered 25" XL pie to feed our party of four well enough needing a take out box. It's a monster size . Each slice is bigger than your head, take a look at the picture. Very good pizza.

Definitely more items on the menu to try next time.”

“deans is a fantastic little coffee shop in Pearl River. It’s beautiful and DELICIOUS and is one of my favorite (new) things about my old hometown. It feels perfectly modern for a small town and the vibes are perfection for a coffee shop. The guy barista doesnt love to talk or smile lol, but he makes BEAUTIFUL lattes and they taste like heaven. For a small space its not impossible to find a table (dont know about peak times though). Prices are average for fancy coffees, but they taste amazing. Pastry selection is far above average- lots of great choices and MANY gluten free, which surprises me and makes me happy for people with celiac out there who can never indulge at coffee shops. I love the vast array of options for different coffees and teas too, a lot for such a small space. Lastly, I like the little display of local goods they have for sale; it’s fun and feels like it also supports the local community which is nice.

Dietary restrictions: there’s lots of gluten free pastries!!!!!

Parking: go park near the library and enjoy a little walk across the field; it’s free for 2-4 hours and you got a walk (5 min) to enjoy your pastry 😁

Kid-friendliness: they seem to not mind when a table of kids comes in to gossip and play at being grown ups without ordering and just sitting and talking, which is kind of sweet?

Wheelchair accessibility: i think there is a step up inside so not wheelchair accessible. if you can get in that step, the bathroom is large and roll-in-able.”

“Awesome place! Went here for a scoop with a couple coworkers after a hard day at work. I really appreciated their prices, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better deal. The kiddie scoop was three bucks, whether you got hard scoop or soft serve. I got coffee hard scoop. Most places have a surcharge for hard scoop, but this place doesn’t. I appreciate that kind of honest pricing. There are tables to sit at that are shaded and service was good. Coworker got their version of a blizzard and said it was really good. This place keeps it simple and does ice cream well.”

“I went to Kwan Thai for Mothers day Dinner. Not only the food was incredibly delicious, the staff was wonderful. They accommodated all 12 people of us very well. The service was pretty fast for how much food we got and every single dish we got was as authentic as it gets and spot on. Definitely our next thai go to spot for sure. 10/10 recommended ??”

“I recently had a post funeral luncheon at the sons of Italy in Blauvelt, which was catered by Luigi O’Gradys. Michelle was very responsive and called me soon after I emailed about availability, and then we handled all details over email (which I preferred). Day of, the staff was great - we didn’t need to ask for anything as they had everything out and ready when it needed to be. The took the stress out of a very sad day.”

Soups, pizza, appetizers and main dishes all prepared fresh. The sauce is the best I have tasted ANYWHERE. I have taken many friends there and never had a complaint! Laidback staff let you eat im peace but if you need anything they are right at your table.”

The music, when band was not singing, pipes out tunes on a new built -in system …. Please lower volume, difficult to talk to my friends. Rooftop is restricted to 25 y/o+.

“Just moved to River Vale from Astoria Queens and tried this on my way home from the Gym (Retro in PR). First off I came in 15 mins before they closed and they were about to close the kitchen and reopend it to make my tacos so kindness already wins! However, the most important part …The Food. If you are expecting Michelin Star tacos then you should go to a Michelin Star restaurant. For anyone that says the food is not good is just bsing. This is a solid taco spot and good to eat on the go or for a quick lunch or dinner. I have had plenty of good tacos being from queens having some of the best taco spots in the world in my boro. This place would definitely compete has a solid neighborhood spot in Queens. Definitely worth going and eating. Plus the five tacos for 15 bucks is a pretty good deal in an inflationary world. Don't listen to the haters that say this food isn't good.”
