“Just moved to River Vale from Astoria Queens and tried this on my way home from the Gym (Retro in PR). First off I came in 15 mins before they closed and they were about to close the kitchen and reopend it to make my tacos so kindness already wins! However, the most important part …The Food. If you are expecting Michelin Star tacos then you should go to a Michelin Star restaurant. For anyone that says the food is not good is just bsing. This is a solid taco spot and good to eat on the go or for a quick lunch or dinner. I have had plenty of good tacos being from queens having some of the best taco spots in the world in my boro. This place would definitely compete has a solid neighborhood spot in Queens. Definitely worth going and eating. Plus the five tacos for 15 bucks is a pretty good deal in an inflationary world. Don't listen to the haters that say this food isn't good.“

“This is a good Mexican Burrito spot in Middletown, good quality food, good service.

I ordered a Make-Your-Own Burrito and it was delicious, reasonably priced too, it all depends on what kind of protein you choose that will determine the overall cost for your order. And the atmosphere of the place was solid to dine in.

The menu has a good variety as well, more so in comparison to Chipotle I have to say.

Overall a good Mexican Burrito/food, spot, I recommend giving it a go if you are in Middletown, Pearl River area. Would order/visit again.“

“Service: Gustavo man, Gustavo. This Brother gave us top tier service, Masha Allah. He was extremely patient as I was really undecided on what to order since it was authentic Mexican and he really kept our interests in mind. I kept calling him over and over again but he kept smiling and you can tell he was genuinely understanding. He greeted us with Salaam and was so courteous through our whole time there. He also checked in on us to make sure things were going good. Great customer service is something that I never overlook and this customer service I received was one of the best.

Food: And the food was so good. It came out one by one so we had stuff to eat from the moment we sat down with the tortilla chips. Had all of our food within 10 min or so which was great. We had Birria tacos, steak bowl, the special quesadilla (forgot the name as it's in Spanish but it had maiz in the name), and tortilla chips. Everything was delicious and legitimately tasted like an authentic foreign cuisine. It is not your average Mexican bowl place. Heavy props to the chef for the amazing flavors and textures of the food!

Halal: I mostly eat at HFSAA or HMS Halal certified locations. So considering they were also certified is always my first step to going to any restaurant. I wouldn't have even come if they weren't certified.

“Best tacos ever . I’ve been a client since the Sombrero truck on Market St in between Checkers and post office . Then they moved to union blvd . I’ve taken my immediate family ,taken friends , when my outer states visitors come is the first place they get taken to also!! The birria tacos were out of this world. Full of flavor, perfectly cooked, and every bite delivered. What really impressed me was the consistency. “the absolute BEST steak sopes i’ve ever had and i’d consider myself a bit of a harsh critic. easy 10/10. the chilaquiles en salsa verde with steak added were also 9.5/10. egg on the chilaquiles were a bit overcooked but that’s on us as we forgot to tell them to leave it a bit runny (a preference thing). the sauce was flavorful, tastes fresh and sits very smooth. just be aware they do not serve liquor (i love a good margarita with dinner) which is no problem, as they had many jarrito options and aguas frescas. we had the churros and tiramisu for dinner which were also very delicious. the churros had some kind of cinammon cream filling inside and came with dark chocolate sauce on the side, delicious! will be back!!“

“I stopped by Taqueria the other week for their grand opening, and I think I've found a new favorite taco spot. The place is vibrantly decorated, super clean, and the music was on point.
Anthony, the manager, walked me through some of the menu options even though there were digital kiosks available—that’s rare these days, so it was nice. The steak was cooked so perfectly in my tacos and burrito box, I was back for more within the week!
Anthony mentioned I should try the chicken next time, so that's definitely my next order. Will recommend to friends!“

“The place had been closed for a while but the reopened and the carnitas tacos are still excellent. Highly recommend. Best tacos in the world. So far the best tacos I have had in Yonkers. I always get the carnitas tacos and they are always so flavorful and the place is simple but nice and clean. The carnitas are always tender. I also get the horchata. This is the place I always go to for Taco Tuesdays. Hands down the best chimichanga in the area, the service is great and the people are very friendly. I've been here several times and never had to wait long for my food. A must of your looking for good authentic Mexican food.“

“As a Hispanic person in a predominantly white town like Westwood, the rate on this store does not match their true authenticity. This is what a true Mexican restaurant is like and the ambience matches that as well. The food is incredible and despite its look I promise you this is as close as you can get to a perfect taco. I recommend a classic bistec taco and a tall glass bottle of coke. This is extremely refreshing to feel and see my culture up close and feel close to home even here in Jersey. Again I’ve been eating tacos my ENTIRE life and can confirm this place deserves 5 stars. You don’t need an extremely fancy set up or overpriced anything to make the food taste better.
