The servers were very friendly, the food was delicious and inexpensive. Just a heads up, they don't have a liquor license. Definitely give this place a try!”

“I have been going here for years. I wanted to make sure I told everyone this is possibly one of the best places to get a meal and feel like you belong. The food is a classic American Diner but the food, Atmosphere and staff make you feel like your home. Some diners almost rush you out. Here they let you enjoy your food. Take a moment and get a burger or an omelette. You will not be sorry.”

“I can't believe I've given other places 5 stars given the service my husband and I received when we came here. Emilio assisted us and we had their pollo asado, popusas, horchata and tres leches. Not only did it feel like a home cooked meal but the service was impeccable. Can't wait to come back and try everything else. Gracias Perla de oriente!”

“My family and I went in and this place is such a gem. I had the dulce de leche paleta and it tasted like the perfect caramel bar, we also ordered cotton candy, coconut and strawberry ice cream. Super nice staff, excellent spot in town. Go get some ice cream or paleta (popsicles!!)”

“Was visiting our son at West Point and wanted a good local pub to watch football. Kelly’s was it. Great staff, food, drinks and so much more. Casual easy atmosphere and plenty of TV’s to watch your game.”

“I was on and out of town visit when I dropped by the store. The sandwich I usually get consists of vegetables only: spinach, cucumber, tomatoes, olives and banana peppers. Many stores act as if the spinach is just a topping rather than the base of the sandwich. This shop made the sandwich nicely. I had no complaints. They staff was also very patient while I signed into the subway app as I had forgotten my password and it took more time than usual. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.”

My Dad was Exalted Ruler at the old White Plains Lodge as well as a Trustee and I am a Life Memeber. When I was in the VA hospital, we always looked forward to the parties they put on. “always always happy with their BEC sandwiches. they only have a *tiny* amount of room for dining in, so it’s mostly/mainly a take-out/pick-up spot. food is always delicious though. if you commute or have a train trip or whatever then it makes way more sense to get food from here vs. the other nearby options (there’s a whole entire restaurant/bar at the actual old Peekskill station, but its a lil ‘foo-foo’. THIS spot which is right across the street has much better/more food options).their menu prices are very reasonable, and the food quality makes it totally worth it.”

“Came here for a late lunch and left completely stuffed. The picanha was very tender, with the perfect amount of fat. The roasted pineapple was a highlight. The drinks were awesome. I'm coming back as soon as bear mountain bridge reopens.”

A couple times they messed up my sandwhich and didn’t put tomato but out of all the other times from ordering, I must say they make the best sandwiches made in the City of Peekskill! “Succulent oxtails - unfortunately couldn't taste any habanero and they were super mild but the overall flavor & texture made up for the lack of spiciness. Rice & peas + the stewed cabbage were also cooked well and tasty. Large portion will easily feed two people for a reasonable price. The older gentleman was lovely and provided great customer service. Really want to try the jerk pork next time!”

My wife is from Peru and got to experience Ecuadorian food for the first time here and she loved it. I’ve been to Ecuador before and I can say that this is pretty delicious and authentic food. Definitely check this place out when in Peekskill.”

“I LOVE La Cascada! It's a country club atmosphere (and we are members of Tapatio Springs CC) but the dining is open to the public. The views out to the golf course are beautiful, the atmosphere is modern and elegant, food EXCELLENT, and service also EXCELLENT. I had the pork chop...moist and delicious, also the mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. Yum! I honestly think La Cascada is great, but ALSO the country club is the BEST VALUE in the hill country!! Hotel rooms and beautiful swimming pools, golf course, wedding venue. It's magical! Tell Becca in Membership that Cathy Newton encouraged to "come visit and consider joining!"”

“Better than average brunch especially for a pub. Loved the pie shaped hashbrowns and the corn beef hash. Solid mimosas. Knowledgeable bar tender who called out the highlights in their beer selection. It's a little divey, but that's part of the charm. Need to stop in when the weather is warmer. Soldi option for Peekskill.”

“Love it here!! The service is great, the cocktail menu is expansive, and the food is incredible!! I highly recommend the roasted Brussels with goat cheese and hot honey. Also their music selection is 10/10. I don’t come often cause it’s quite pricey, but it’s one of my favorite places in Peekskill for sure.”
