Carmen’s Restaurant Reviews
Me & my friend went and ordered the mangu con Los tres golpes w/cafe con leche… it was perfect. The place is a bit run down but the food was so good it didn’t matter! Only downside is, I can never seem to get through to them on the phone, it goes dead. So it is impossible to place orders by phone ahead of time.
All I can say is OMG!!! Every bite is incredibly delicious!!! I’m so grateful to have found real food so far from home!! I’ll be back with friends!!!
The place was empty, but the music was blasting, so figured it was open. The food was too salty for my taste. We gave it a try. Probably not heading back. Good to give it a try, good to know outcome.
Carmen's Restaurant offers Spanish Caribbean food, including the dish "mangu con Los tres golpes" and "cafe con leche." The restaurant has a family-friendly atmosphere, with attentive ownership. However, some may find the food slightly salty. While the location may appear closed from the outside, the interior features lively music. There is room for improvement with telephone communication and the addition of more Dominican dishes and desserts.
