“I am usually weary of ordering fried chicken for pickup but Pelicana Plainview, with their perfect timing, and extreme care for their products have been able to make takeout chicken taste just as good as if it were eaten on site.
I’ve dined in multiple times at this location but just felt like eating at home today. As usual, Pelicana did not disappoint.“

Never in my wildest dreams did I imagined myself leaving a Google review for Chicken spot, But after spending a few minutes there and interacting with the staff and laughing and having fun and feeling more welcome than I do at my own family’s house, I had to put this out there for the world to see.
I wish I caught your names, but thank you so much to the young lady and young men who am my opinion, went above and beyond the call of duty for a quick In-N-Out wing joint. Thanks for the fun I had with you guys in the few minutes. I was there. The food is excellent. The vibe is immaculate and all I did was laugh and smile the whole time I was there.
You guys definitely do the right thing and have a winning formula and I wish nothing but the best for you guys and years of success. Just keep doing the right thing and the people will keep coming.

“I have had Korean fried chicken a few times from different locations, but this is one of the best! The chicken had a very crispy outside even with the sauce on top and a very juicy flavorful inside…. me and my kids thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Very easily a fam favorite !“

“Honestly, this place is so slept on... Krave It has the best pizza in Bayside— by a LANDSLIDE. I love that they use unbromated flour and I appreciate that every piece (even the specialty slices with many heavy toppings) has great structure, no flop. Thin & crispy crust, great ratio of sauce and cheese. I also love how clean the restaurant is. They have some incredible specialty slices that I never knew I needed in my life until I tried them! Especially the “Desi Boy” slice and the “white truffle chicken cutlet” slice. I also have to mention their vodka slice with sesame crust 🤤 Everything in this place is high quality, even their regular slices. Their sandwiches are pretty incredible too, and you can tell that the bread is fresh made in house— you don’t feel bloated or overly stuffed after eating them! The owner is super friendly and even gave us a couple extra slices to try to complete our “pie” when we had already ordered a small variety of slices. The staff are all very friendly and it feels very comfortable and less stuffy than some of the other pizzerias in the area. Happy to give this place my business. Give them a try, you will be back for more!“

“Come here daily for salads, burrito bowls, Greek bowls. Pop Salad and El Diez menus are a great deal under 10 dollars (guacamole is free) they even have a combo with chips and drink for $10. Portions are big. You can customize everything, and it tells you in the app if anything has gluten, dairy, or nuts. Hard to review a restaurant that has this level of variety, but the healthy dishes are definitely as good as anywhere else for less money and faster service. The fast pass subscription gets you money discounted on every order automatically so it pays for itself if you come regularly which isn't a problem at a place that has everything and is open until almost midnight every day. The benefit of Wonder having everything is that the entire family can get whatever type of food they want from one location and you don't have to agree on what to have for dinner or lunch anymore. No need to wait on a line at Chipotle anymore.“

“Let me tell you guys how amazing Donna is! i ordered food for my boyfriend and it was stolen by an uber driver, he picked up my food from this location but never confirmed picking it up on the uber app, therefore the order was still saying that it had to be picked up in the system. I called Bww and spoke to Donna and she explained that uber drivers kept coming in to pick up my food that didn't exist. Her advice was to let uber know what happened so that they can cancel the order in the system, and I could re-order it for someone to pick it up. I knew that would take some time & they were about to close in 30mins. Being that my order was still in the system , the 4th uber driver was on his way to pick up my food . I asked her if I could just put the order in with her over the phone instead of going through Uber and she was more than happy to take my order. She took my order and apologized for the wait even though it wasn't her fault , she also said she'll throw in some extra food for the inconvenience. Donna if you're reading this, thank you so much and I truly appreciate people like you, your level of customer service was excellent. You were patient and kind and i'm so glad that I got to speak with you. She definitely kept her word and added extra food to enjoy along with a cute note, i honestly couldn't be more satisfied. They gave me yellow rice with fried onions, a few green peas and and small bleached out shrimp. The only things I miss, that have changed, are the removal of the heavily aircraft themed menu and decor, which was fun, and the old menu structure, with the puddle jumper, and hanger one combos, etc., with chicken portions based on weight, not number of pieces, and when the combos included a drink. Parking also now sucks, because the town (obviously not Wings Over) switched to metered parking EVERYWHERE, which was not a thing until several years ago.“

“From out of town, popped in after spending a day at jones beach and read the reviews online. Just wanted a place with good food with a casual vibe (I like pub bars for context). Phenomenal service, great wings, love the zucchini fries & price points were on point! Definitely recommend, I wish I lived nearby so I could visit often. But it was really nice seeing and chatting with locals at the bar who visit often. Didn’t drink alcohol but they look like they do heavy pours ;)“

“I’m very picky when it comes to meat. Other places serve that thin slimy chicken. This place serves actual chunks of real chicken. Fresh and delicious. I won’t go anywhere else. Prices are good as well. It’s a typical take out place with a few tables so atmosphere is average but they are very nice there.“
