Foods are ok, as of today they just raised the price and its a little overpriced for a Chinese restaurant

I am giving it 3 stars because the tastes were great for the most part, however, there are problems. Here are my takes: Egg roll was good. Extra crispy BUT the inside cabbage was soggy. Taste was on point. Beef with broccoli: beef was also very tender but very mushy. Tasty was awesome. Buddha's delight: The Buddha's delight had a weird tasting tofu. I can't wrap my head around what it tasted like (sometimes sour sometimes "rub" flavor) They gave me a $1 off on the soup dumplings. I didn't have any but daughter had it, and she liked it but not "love" it. There weren't any soup and the skin was too thick. However, each dumplings have a generous amount of meat. It is a fast food restaurant but I don't think it lives up to what they claim to be. They try to be different that sets their price up, but fail to attempt the wow factor for me to come back. It wasn't memorable to say the least. Also, it is not an eat in restaurant. There are a few seating but they don't look comfortable and convenient. Might be a bit too crowded for groups.

Nice day Chinese in Plainview is super clean and has good quality food. Especially the cheeseburger egg roll. This will definitely be my new Chinese spot.

I deliver regularly for many places but rarely try their food. This takeout is the way takeout used to be. I had the Cantonese Pineapple Chicken and the Soup Dumplings. Outstanding. You can definitely tell the difference when things are made in house from scratch. Please try this place!

The food in this restaurant is awful. I went there for the first time several weeks ago and ordered several dishes and soups. First, the Mongolian beef was floating in oil and had no sauce. I ordered egg drop soup and Egg drop wonton soup. They gave me wonton soup instead. This soup tasted like old dishwater and was awful. I decided to try them again today and ordered just Egg drop soup and wonton Egg drop soup. They again gave me wonton soup. I called them and the person who answered the phone hung up on me when I complained. Also, their menu is the size of a postage stamp and the customer service is awful. They sell items that are definitely not Chinese, like french fries. What Chinese restaurant serves french fries. Horrible place. I miss Noodletown. I will never go to this take out again. If I could give them ZERO stars, I would have. Any person who knows good Chinese food will stay away from this place.

The food was not good at all. I have been to the Melville location several times with mostly positive experiences. The Plainview location was bad. I ordered a shrimp Szechwan hot pot. The sauce was not spicy. There was way too much sauce for a hot pot. It was goopy mess sauce with way too much cornstarch. The veggies were extremely overcooked. Overall a pretty bad experience.

I hope the boss will eat the two 38 squid in the store quickly.

I rarely eat Americanized Chinese takeout food. One of the reasons (besides the fact that I like particular Chinese regional dishes more) is that takeout is usually just OK. But Nice Day has some of your favorite “American-Chinese” dishes done right. I believe Chef Lucas Sin is one of the owners of the chain - he’s a great chef and if he’s behind a restaurant, I trust it’s of high, or at least higher, quality. I had the classic Gen Tso with wonton soup. It was very good and the chicken was nice and crispy. My only request would be for the restaurant to have some traditional 辣椒油 (chili pepper oil) on the table. And if I had a recommendation, it would be to include some sweet & sour offerings.

My favorite Chinese take out place! Consistently delicious food. They will customize any dish to your liking as well.
