We stopped here to grab something quick before getting on the ferry, and we were so glad we did! The food was delicious, the portions were huge, and the service was fast.
The guy working was incredibly kind and provided amazing service. We ordered the quesadilla, gyro, and cheesesteak with fries, and everything was really good.
Definitely a hidden gem/“hole-in-the-wall” kind of place that’s worth stopping at. We’d absolutely come back!

Deli Rush Mart is a hidden gem and a hole-in-the-wall kind of place that is worth stopping at. The restaurant offers Halal options and the food is delicious, amazing, and absolutely incredible. Portions are huge, generous, and hearty, and the food is all made to order. The service is fast and the owner is kind, welcoming, friendly, compassionate, and an absolute gentleman who takes his job seriously. The menu includes quesadilla, gyro, cheesesteak with fries, chicken over rice, barbecue chicken, deep fried bell pepper and onion rings, and carrot cake, with a case of desserts too. The chicken over rice is one of the best in years, with chicken that is perfectly cooked, well-marinated, tender, and packed with flavor, and rice that is flavorful. The barbecue chicken has a perfect taste. The place is reasonably priced, and the value is outstanding for the quality and portion size. The lot is big enough for Bobtail parking. The owner is great with allergy and intolerance issues and gave a place to sit and free drinks. Deli Rush Mart is well above par, a small-town gem, and highly recommended.
