“Syracuse halal gyros food is 100/10… huge portions, reasonable prices, and absolutely delicious. They are open late which is great because there aren’t many options open late these days. When we picked up our order the gentleman behind the counter offered us a huge “sample” of chicken and rice so we could try their (new?) green sauce which was also delicious. I’d recommend this place to anyone and everyone.”

“I was a regular customer 20 years ago. All this talk about how good the food is. Robbie is a legend. We need more people like him. He celebrates every customer like royalty for walking in his door. Still recognizes me when I go in there all these years later. One of my best friends here in NY.”

“The absolute BEST Indian restaurant in Central NY. They go above & beyond for all of their customers. The food is ALWAYS top notch every time I have come here. You never have to ask for a refill on drinks or anything, they are on top of it! You really feel like family here because even after your first visit they actually remember you! “OMG. One of my fav coffee places in Central NY. Outside of Italy, this place has the next best coffee (no joke) in CNY. Well, OK, maybe Recess coffee is up there, too. Great place to gather w/ friends or just enjoy the warm, friendly atmosphere. Lite menu offers good food choices, too. Staff is amazing. You MUST check out this hidden gem.”

“Update July 1st, 2026 stopped back into Gabrielle Chocolates & Ice cream with my wife and met Gabrielle in person. She could not have been nicer!!We both had some great Sundaes and Gabrielle gave us some high quality hard ice cream to make up for the one night that we didn’t have a fulfilling experience.
We’ve been going to the shop for many years and will start going again. Thank you very much! :-)

The waffle cone is much smaller with much smaller scoops on it. Ordered two two scoop cones, and we both wanted more ice cream. Quality is very good however. Will probably not return.”

“Great bar and restaurant for lunch and dinner in the area. When I was unsure what to order drink wise I was given the option and of a tasting based upon what I liked which was fantastic. I ordered the Miami Cuban and the food was excellent and worked well with having the bar next door. Left full and happy, all for maybe 30 bucks. I would recommend this spot for a hang out spot among friends or family.”

“This little bakery in Jamesville, NY has the best halfmoons, strawberry whip cream cakes and pastries ever. We order a box of half-moons whenever we go out to town to visit family. If you need a special order, the owner Francis takes your order, he is fabulous and very accommodating. They definitely deserve a 10 out of 10. Thank you, Pastry Palace Bakery.”

“We found this tucked away spot after a walk with the dogs at Clark’s Reservation. This is hands down the best ice cream I have had in this area. They have Ashbys ice cream, and it is top tier! I got the flight, I cannot remember the full names: Tennessee toffee, Michigan pot hole, a caramel one, and black raspberry w cherry cordial in it. The raspberry is to die for! My partner got the ice cream nachos with hot fudge, twist soft serve, and cheesecake chunks! We also got a pup cup for the dogs. 10/10 on everything! We will be back as we are in Jamesville quite a bit! Def check it out! It’s super clean, outdoor seating, plenty of inside seating! The ladies serving us were polite and helpful!”

“Finally got to try some of their food after seeing them online over a year but missing their food trucks whenever they were in town. AMAZING!!! I got a beef quesadilla and my bf got a birria beef rice bowl. both fantastic!! (we both favored the quesadilla a little though). Highly recommend their food! The owner is an absolute sweetheart as well 💕”

“I disagree 100 percent that the riggies here taste better than Utica. They simply don’t. The portion size was great, but the chicken was so cut way too small. The sauce just didn’t hit my taste buds the same. The cheese and seasoning on the saucer for bread is just odd. Not bad, just odd. My server never checked in to ask how my food was, but he did have a lot of tables. I probably would return and order something else. Overall, it’s worth checking out. They do seem to get very busy though. Parking can be limited.”
