“My wife and I travelled from Toronto Canada to Port Chester NY to attend a concert at the Capitol Theatre on a Friday night in October 2025. We parked in the lot beside the restaurant (which was very convenient) and were greeted by a very friendly host, who seated us right away – accommodating my wife in her wheelchair with ease.\n\nThe restaurant was lively, filled with families enjoying themselves – such a wonderful atmosphere. We told our server, Joey, that after dinner we were heading to a concert around the corner. Joey was so kind and assured us we would make it on time – and he was absolutely right! He and the kitchen staff were incredibly efficient.\n\nDinner was absolutely amazing – a true 10/10 - and Joey's service was top-notch. The matriarch and patriarch visited our and other tables to check that everything was perfect (and it was!). They and the entire team made us feel welcome and like part of the family.\n\nWe rarely take leftovers when travelling, but our meal was so good that we did this time – and it was just as delicious when we warmed it up for lunch the next day at our hotel.\n\nWe highly recommend T&J Pizza and Pasta (T&J Restaurant & Pizzeria) to everyone!“

“Sorry we didn't take pictures. on more than one occasion I have gone here to have a quiet and delicious lunch. I have also been to dinner there. But I'll have friends who come up from the city, we want to catch up, we will go there and have a long leisurely lunch. Food is great, we love the Sangria on a hot summer day. “Few restaurants are consistently better on every visit, Capers is one. We went with another couple for dinner. Wine was Ken Wright Pinot Noir-excellent. Appetizers were Squid and Tricolore Salad. Salad was very good, didn't try the Squid, but it smelled incredible. Entrees were Chicken Martini, Mussels, Short Ribs and Yellowfin tuna.- all very good. Service is great.“

“This restaurant gets a FULL 10 out of 10, was here last night May 2, 2025 to celebrate my mom’s 86th Birthday dinner!! The STAFF SERVICE FOOD ATMOSPHERE was OVER & BEYOND!!! They made sure we was SERVED RIGHT & then they surprised my mom with cake & Music singing for her!!! She was in HAPPY TEARS!!! I highly recommend THIS PLACE to ANYONE!! “I had the special of the day which consisted of chicken soup, breaded, steak, rice, and salad. I can’t tell you how pleasantly surprised I was when I first the soup. If you know, you know it was excellent! I loved the steak and a rice. It was perfect, and the owner could not have been nicer. The weight staff was very attentive as well. I normally go to Jackson Heights Queens, but that’s a schlep. I’m so happy I found this new spot which I will make my own well worth the visit he won’t be disappointed.“

“The original chefs left from Hubba Hubba to open their own place and the spot is open until 5 a.m. too! But way cleaner and less sketchy. I always get their chicken cutlet sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, provolone cheese and chilli. Their chilli is SO spicy and is so special to me because it reminds me of my childhood. I spent so many years trying to eat the chilli when I went there with my dad and sister when I was in elementary school, but it was always too hot. Finally one day I did it!! With Texas water on the side and some chilli cheese fries. Now it's my still my favorite place to get my spicy cravings. And even though my dad doesn't live here anymore, he still wants to go to Texas Chili every time he visits and he always asks me to bring him chilli when I go see him!!!“

If there is any Setback, it's the Limited Parking as there are only Nine Parking Spaces for Seven Businesses! However, there is Ample Street Parking! There is Limited Seating as the Restaurant is not very big! However, the Very Tasty and Affordably Priced Food more than makes up for these Minor Setbacks!“

There is NO HEAT which would be fine in the Summer; but, on a Winter Day, when you simply want to sit and enjoy your meal, it's a Definite NO! “Mistis in portchester is a no frills, immensely clean, and newly renovated Peruvian restaurant. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious, and it comes out very quick. They give you nice warm dinner rolls right when you sit down l. My favorite is the llomo or Pollo Saltado. The best !“

“Hands down the best Chinese takeout I’ve ever found in Westchester. Spare ribs are always perfect and not fatty and shrimp dishes have extra jumbo shrimp. The egg drop soup is not overly salty and has the best texture and flavor I’ve ever had.“
