“Granita's service was very very good - attentive, and patient with a difficult diner in our party :) Pasta Fagiole soup was excellent. Octopus appetizer was ok - shaved octopus with a lot of arugula. Main dishes were decent - from veal ragu linguine to pork chops to tuna special - not outstanding but well prepared. The restaurant is nice, good environment and looks like a great bar area. It's a good local place, for families as well as adult groups.“

“I ordered lunch takeout and it was great! The Chirashi Regular has a wide variety of fish and came pretty much exactly as described in the menu picture. The sushi rice is good and had a little bit of roasted sesame seeds on it. I really liked the saba. The katsu don in the second picture!“

“My cousin comes here three days a week and every time we plan lunch this is one of the few places he will eat. I have come here with him on four different occasions and every time I leave, I think to myself why don’t I come here more often. I had the special today. Fish and chips. Absolutely delicious big large piece of fish fried well batter flavorful french fries absolutely delicious and it comes with these really good spicy pickles. The place is really clean and the white stuff is great. I have no complaints but it is one of those places that when you leave you feel good after you ate. It’s worth it.“

“I recently organized a dinner get together for 10 people at Pas'tina's. The staff honored my request to sit all of us in a round table, in which I felt was important to enable interaction amongst all of us. Once a month, each of of take turns to coordinate a dinner reunion at different restaurants. We had such a lovely time. The food, the service and the ambiance exceeded our expectations. We were seated in the catering section that was empty and we were so engrossed in lively conversations that we didn't realize that the restaurant was closing and it was time to leave. The gracious staff didn't remind us. I've been going to Pas'Tina's for over 20 years, even during the pandemic, but it was the first time I went with a large group. I recommend savoring their delicious Italian lunch or menu by yourself, with a friend or a social gathering. Kudos Tina and your loyal staff! Ivette M. Hartsdale, NY“

“One of the best Ramen Bars I’ve ever been to. The flavors across the menu are unreal. The Spicy Miso Ramen w/ Pork Belly in particular was one of the best soup broths I’ve ever tasted. The service staff could not have been more friendly and courteous. The quaint setting and atmosphere lend themselves to almost feel like sitting at one big family style dinner table.“

“I rate this 2 on value but 4 on taste. This is your typical American Chinese takeout but at a slightly higher end scale due to the location and clientele. Everything is well done and I personally never received anything that didn't taste fresh. A great example of what Human Village II is about is their make your "own" entre which is very Dominick's of Arthur Ave like . This is where you pick your meat, up to three veggies, type of sauce, and how you want it cooked and this starts at $18 but can climb upwards of $32. They have delicious perfectly cooked non greasy egg rolls but they are $3 each. They offer higher end fares like the filet mignon with Chinese broccoli but at $30. Their Pad Thai while not authentic is one of my favorite Pad Thais of all time. Their Chow Fun with roast pork is just as good as anything in Chinatown but $17. The soup dumplings are great but are $12 and in comparison something like this in Chinatown would be $5. Again, all the food here is very good for the type of restaurant it is, but the prices are simply very high for basically takeout Chinese when for $30+ an plate you can actually go out and get an actual upscale meal. You could argue that $30 an entre isn't bad but the size of each entre really isn't family style.“

“Had an early dinner @ Vega on Cinco de Mayo and what a nice experience it was! The food hands down was delicious!! Fresh and delivered hot to the table. The servers were on the hustle to please and were very friendly and smiled!! Our waiter Collette ( I hope I spelled it correctly!) Was professional, genuinely friendly, smiled all the time and checked in with us appropriately ( not too much, just right). The vibe was artsy and cultural, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Definitely will be back and bring more friends.Message to management, you have a wonderful staff. Good job by All!“
