“I love this place. The variety of vegetarian entrees is unmatched for a Chinese restaurant. And the variety is "true variety", not just permutations is General Tso's tofu. Flavors are good, and vegetables are always cooked well and always crisp.Just try it! Get the salt and pepper style, very pleasant.“
“I rate this 2 on value but 4 on taste. This is your typical American Chinese takeout but at a slightly higher end scale due to the location and clientele. Everything is well done and I personally never received anything that didn't taste fresh. A great example of what Human Village II is about is their make your "own" entre which is very Dominick's of Arthur Ave like . This is where you pick your meat, up to three veggies, type of sauce, and how you want it cooked and this starts at $18 but can climb upwards of $32. They have delicious perfectly cooked non greasy egg rolls but they are $3 each. They offer higher end fares like the filet mignon with Chinese broccoli but at $30. Their Pad Thai while not authentic is one of my favorite Pad Thais of all time. Their Chow Fun with roast pork is just as good as anything in Chinatown but $17. The soup dumplings are great but are $12 and in comparison something like this in Chinatown would be $5. Again, all the food here is very good for the type of restaurant it is, but the prices are simply very high for basically takeout Chinese when for $30+ an plate you can actually go out and get an actual upscale meal. You could argue that $30 an entre isn't bad but the size of each entre really isn't family style.“
“So impressed with the delicious food and beautiful presentation. My husband loved the Veggie Pakoras and the Masala Dosa. The waiter was very friendly and made note to not use ghee on the Coconut Naan and Masala Dosa when my husband told him he is vegan. I loved the Tandoori Chicken, best I've tasted and so tender! We look forward to trying other dishes from their extensive menu on our next visit.“
“We had the BEST time at brunch! Mega shoutout to our server, Bobby, who not only showed incredible hospitality but was also very knowledgeable and accommodating re:the food restrictions & allergies within our party. We could not recommend more highly!! Thank you to Bobby and the Goosefeather team! ✨“
“Love this place. I’m only a few minutes away from them, and they have never been disappointed. The lady that takes the orders is super sweet. She always calls me sweetheart lol as someone who was not raised with much affection, that always makes me smile lol. good food and good people. You can never go wrong with that. The chicken and broccoli, fried chicken, rib tips, chicken fried rice, and steamed/fried dumplings are usually my go to. Haven’t had a complaint yet“
“Vegetarian options: There were enough options for my vegetarian friend to choose from.Parking: The restaurant is an anchor to the Westchester Mall, which has plenty of parking that is now flat rate vs the hourly they used to charge.Kid-friendliness: There were kids throughout that appeared to be enjoying themselves.“
“Without question the best Chinese food in Westchester County. Everything is fresh and delicious. O'Mandarin used to be my go to until Szechuan City opened...a much better value I might add. My favorite dish is the pork with hot pepper. The sautéd pea shoots are also incredible. Give it a try, you won't be sorry.“
“So fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Not too oily/greasy.Surprisingly good for a smaller, unassuming Chinese takeout place. There are a few tables for waiting or dining.Parking was a little tricky.Parking: A few spots in front, but most are in rear, I think.“
“The food is very good. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the food and also recommended us what to get. The atmosphere is amazing, it’s. Like you step in a scene from an Asia movie. This usually gets busy around 7pm. I will recommend this place.Parking: There is a lot of parking. They a have there own parking lot and it’s also free…“
