Great place, shame they’re now out of business. We stopped by a few days ago around 7pm and they were closed. I tried calling them each day since and it goes to voicemail.
Bella was our server and she was terrific, friendly and fast. We arrived in Port Jeff via ferry. Our niece Kristin recommended we meet at Portside because Portside is dog friendly and she was so right! They offered a dog water bowl. We will definitely eat here again. Thanks!
Angelina was so great very welcoming and friendly...the food was fantastic...service was terrific....great place.

Portside Bar & Grill is a hidden gem in Port Jefferson, offering a cool atmosphere with great outdoor seating that's dog friendly. This peaceful and secluded spot has a welcoming vibe, making it perfect for small kids and dogs. The service is good, with a friendly bartender who provides helpful recommendations. Despite some kitchen troubles, the food is very good, and the young lady serving was pleasant. The New England Clam Chowder is loaded with clams, while the Calamari appetizer is well prepared and tender. The Ceasar Salad Chicken Wrap with a fresh salad instead of French Fries is also a good choice, especially with the chunky Blue Cheese dressing. The place is ideal for catching a game and enjoying a beer, with happy hour drink specials available. It’s a nice and chill spot that is definitely worth a visit.
