Riverside Creamery Reviews
Tonight was the worst experience I have had at an establishment. So much so that I wanted to write a review. Went in for ice cream with friends and our children. We all wanted to sit next to each other so we let other sit while we waited over 40 minutes for an available table. We found a table next to our kids and waited for the previous customers to finish. When they did, I grabbed their table and the bus boy cleaned it and I was handed my ice cream. A quarter of the way through...read full review
The place was awesome inside and out, with beautiful views. Dog friendly! The parmesan garlic fries were great, and the ice cream menu is extensive. Tried something I've never heard of. Even the whipped cream was amazing! Got to attend a geocaching event accidentally...
Great service, we were greeted upon entry. There were two servers attending to us this afternoon. It was just the two of us at the table. We tried a new sundae and fried ice cream! Everything was delicious! When we finished eating we took a look at the Delaware River and sat on a bench for a few minutes.
Definitely recommend a stop here if you are in the area. (It is worth the trip)

Riverside Creamery is a beloved destination for homemade ice cream and milkshakes, known for its fantastic flavors and even sugar-free options for guests with dietary needs. Situated by the river, it provides a charming place to relax while enjoying a quick dinner or a sweet treat. This busy yet efficient spot has been serving the community for 25 years and is a must-visit for anyone in Port Jervis. Guests can enjoy the view from the outside benches overlooking the Delaware or take a dessert to-go. The menu boasts a wide selection, including the highly recommended waffle sundae, which many find irresistible. The chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream is also a favorite, although some have mentioned that the ice cream portion could be larger. The restaurant features an old-fashioned dine-in ice cream parlor from the 1950s, with the original countertop and nostalgic decor, creating a unique atmosphere. There is plenty of space for kids to run around outside, making it a family-friendly destination. Parking is available with several spots on the paved side and additional unpaved parking on the other side.
