Panera Bread in Poughkeepsie

“Similar to my review of Stop & Shop, just down the road, this is my favorite Panera Bread. It has a wonderful feel if you want to take a moment away from the hectic pace to sit and enjoy a bowl of soup and cup of coffee. The low ceilings and mix of spaces allows more of a "homey" feel. The floors and bathrooms are well maintained, and there is usually plenty of room to choose a seat.
As part of the "Sip Club," I love to stop off with my laptop and get a couple of quiet hours working and watching. The introvert in me loves the anonymity and yet, somehow, feeling a part of what is going on around me.“

“Excellent. Coffee and cream/milk all empty with a lunch rush. Ask manager Karin to help me out. She was friendly, professional, and courtesy and exceeded my expectations for customer service. I loved that she was so cognizant of her public facing communication, including the quick eye contact while she was busy finishing up her prior order, just to let me know she is aware and on it. Her level of politeness afforded to me was over the top. That's rare these days! I can see why she is the manager. Props. Sip club has gotten me into Panera, and I am glad and really enjoy the brand now. Usually, I take out, but the warm interior environment is usually overpowering, and I opt to eat in. Had the full-sized French Dipper. It was delicious! Coffee always decent. Food would be 5 stars if the portion was a bit more generous for the price. Bagged kettle chips as good as they get.“
