“We stumbled upon this gem while visiting the Vanderbilt Mansion. We were driving by and saw a bunch of people. It was Wednesday 7/2 BINGO NIGHT!! Great fun atmosphere! Excellent service despite a crowd of people! The food was amazing! I want to drive the three hours to get it again! I had the Optimus Prime it was off the charts delicious! 10000/10. “We were in the area for a family wedding, and my husband and I needed some quiet time. We decided to try the Raccoon Saloon on Saturday, June 28. We may have been the first people in for lunch that day. It was quiet, and the people welcoming. We were seated at a table with a view of the river, so nice. Our waitress (I think) was Claire. The food was wonderful; we were so relaxed. We came back the next day and got takeaway, and it, too, was great. I would highly recommend this place for the food and ambiance.“

Stepping into Mr. P’s Roadhouse on a scorching hot Friday was like finding an oasis, and that's largely thanks to the incredible service from Sheila, the bartender. From the moment we arrived, Sheila greeted us with the warmest smile and a politeness that immediately made us feel welcome.
She was quick to recommend the coconut tacos, and let me tell you, they were an absolute game-changer! Hands down, the best tacos we've had in this entire area – a true delight. The beer was perfectly ice cold, and the air conditioning was a blissful escape from the heat outside.
What truly made our visit exceptional was Sheila's wonderful personality. She had us laughing and feeling so comfortable, it was as if we’d known her our entire lives. Her genuine warmth and friendly demeanor are exactly what you hope for in a bartender.
