“Although I only recently started going to this pub, Kyle and his team do an excellent job. Food is good. Service is good. Watch out for Kyle's shuffle board skills. You may leave a few less bucks! Definitely going to be a regular joint for me.“
“My husband and I went for Valentine's Day dinner. I booked a reservation on Open Table, at least I thought I did! The staff could not find it; but they were gracious, and immediately seated us. But not too gracious, when my husband asked if we could be seated in one of the larger booths, we were told "no, they were reserved". Of course, three of them remained empty the entire time we were there. The food: it was nice that we had the option of ordering from the special Valentine's day menu, or from the regular menu. I had the wonderful beet salad, and the maple burger, which was cooked perfectly. Sadly, my French fries were an embarrassment to any restaurant that has ever served fries! Overcooked, lukewarm- terrible! My husband ordered from the Valentine's menu, started with a salmon sushi, which he Ioved, and his cocoa beef entree was excellent, and he can be picky. He also enjoyed his brownie sundae, I did not try it (chocolate allergy). My sticky toffee pudding, which I've had here before, was as excellent as I remembered it. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, and put up with my husband's grilling her (we learned that she has a golden retriever). Overall, a very nice meal, but please Birdsall House, fix those Fries!“
“Sheerans perfect pint is a hidden gem that never fails to impress. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for a memorable dining experience.. Whether you're craving small bites to share or a hearty meal, there's something for everyone. Sheerans is a must-visit destination for anyone looking to indulge in delicious food and drinks in a welcoming setting. Highly recommend the Gaelic Steak!“
“What a fun place. I can only speak to the atmosphere and beer since I have never eaten at Tapsmith, but it's a great little local watering hole. Owner Tracy is very friendly, a good conversationalist, and you can tell he really cares about his customers. You immediately feel at home when you walk in. Great variety of beers on tap and to go.“
“I can't believe we have lived here for three years but only just came to Brodie's for the first time. This place is excellent. I really appreciate when a server notices you have an empty glass, and asks if you want another of whatever you're drinking (Guinness, in my case). It is my favorite thing a restaurant can do, and Brodie's staff does this. The food was really good, not very expensive, and the whole experience was excellent from beginning to end.Kid-friendliness: They have highchairs, the staff is friendly, we were there at like 6PM on a Friday and the place was full of families with kids of varying ages.“
“Stopped by for burgers ended up getting the Ruben... WOW what a great sandwich!!! Yes the burger was great also..Help was super friendly,, glad we stopped,, we will definitely go back to try different meals on the menuParking: Hit or miss!! It's Croton, could be out front? could be a half of block away! depends on the time and day of the week but definitely worth effort for the food!!“
“I consider myself (as do others) a bar/sports bar afficianado. The moment I walked into Game Day, I knew it was a 10. Vibe, size, layout all were spot on. Then add great beer selection (Stella please), great boneless wings, TVs everywhere and a very friendly staff, including the owner, and you have a winner, and a new spot for me to watch upcoming events. Go Uconn!“
“Stopped in to watch the Bills on MNF while in town for work. Sean is a great host/ bartender and the crowd was friendly (even if they weren’t Bills fans). We ordered wings, and as Buffalonian I can say these are the legit Buffalo experience. Check it out!“
“Overall: This place was just alright--if you are craving burgers, sliders, wings, fries, mozzarella sticks, mac & cheese, onion rings--basically every American junk food imaginable, it will do the jobFilet mignon Sliders: 4/5; meat cooked to my liking but toooooo heavy on the blue cheese imoPatty melt: 4/5; came on a white bread and not a patty so that was surprising Service: 4/5 didn't communicate our available side options well that went with each entree or came by to refill our water but was still nice and prompt with our entree“
“Peekskill needed a place like Peekskill Public for a long time. Great bar area, lots of TVs (with the NFL package), and a growing selection of cheaper domestics and still-affordable craft beers and cocktails. The dining room is smaller but that's because there is a large pool table (takes dollars), a professional grade shuffleboard table and four dart boards with great lighting and score machines. Plus the newly expanded outdoor seating with private areas and fans...even a big outdoor TV in the lounge area. It's pretty great and the staff is very sweet and professional.Kid-friendliness: It's a time of day thing, it is a bar after all, but our kid loves being in the dining room with all the screens and people playing the games. Just lots to watch.“
