“I was passing through town, I never go to Tuckahoe. My wife and I were starving. We ordered chicken cutlet on a roll. The sandwich was huge and the chicken was flavorful. It's refreshing to still have a deli that sells quality sandwiches at a fair price. I will be making my way back.“

“The owner(scott) is what keeps people coming back. Just today while I waited Scott:

1. Gave back 20 dollars when a kid had overpaid thinking he paid 40 instead of 60.
2. A mom came in and paid for her order because her son had come in earlier that morning and picked up food without any cash.
3. Told two long time customers no charge - the deli accidently made the sandwhiches on rolls instead of heros so no charge. He had to force them to leave without paying.

This was all within 10 minutes. Hope this place stays in business for the next 100 years. The food is great, and they should do an article on him and this place.“

“Best deli sandwiches I've tried so far outside of NYC. That being said, there was a bit of a delay with my pickup since I used their actual website and not one of the delivery apps. Sounded like they had forgotten to check it, I imagine the apps get way more traffic. A bit annoying but they quickly made it on the spot and apologized.Anyways, we ordered a pastrami and Italian sandwich. The pastrami sandwich was 4.5/5, a good amount of meat, nice crispy edges, but maybe a hair too salty on some bites. Paired it with some home made spicy mayo and it brought it to 5/5. Definitely getting this again.The Italian was solid and provided loads of meat. We enjoyed it but personally would have liked a tad more oil and vinegar. We gave this a 4/5.Both sandwiches are so packed that they can easily be split up into 2 pieces (maybe even 3 depending on who's eating it). So great option for leftovers.Recommend coming here if you're in the neighborhood looking for a great sub.“
