“Now let me tell you about this little cafe, located in the down lake street heading towards West Harrison…I’ve been to this establishment several times along my route. In the morning for coffee, bananas and more coffee. But never have I ever ate here…till last month. Around this time 2pm in the afternoon I was craving a taco (which I knew Eddie’s Little Cafe most definitely make) along with other delicious Mexican delights. I just never knew what everything tasted like. Because let it be known I’ve tasted majority of White Plains’s Taco scene… ONLY ONE PLACE CURRENTLY REIGNS SUPREME…. Which I have yet to review. Till now..: Not only does Eddie’s Little Cafe crafts the most beautiful taco.. but their “Chorizo/2 egg scramble with home fries breakfast tacos” literally will satisfy anyone craving a breakfast taco. Perfect for brunch, perfect for a quick lunch. This homemade meal I order was and is a force to be reckon with. Because it IS MADE …with professionalism, “homemade-ism”,… it just tastes really freaking good and I was hungry! I still have a few hours delivering mail along my route but damn I AM SATISFIED for now…till dinner… PLUS DONT FORGET THE SAUCES!!!Please support the locals!!“
“I say, I was initially unsure what to think of an establishment named after a metal fruit. However after several years of patronage I can say that whatever an "Iron Tomato" is, it's good! I've tried their pizza which is decent, at best, their salads are serviceable too. However, the REAL reason you should come here are for their signature sandwiches. There are a plethora of delicious options from cold cuts to hot cutlets and more. Despite being as upscale and gentrified as it is, the sandwiches are comparatively cheap to others in the area. Despite this, the ingredients are fresh and taste better than the competition! Good show! Fare 4/5 Price $$“
“Hubs mentioned these guys make Italian-style Sandwiches as close in taste and quality- to where he used to get them back in the day when he lived on Pitman Ave in Wakefield. City Line has always been hubs' first line of defense when it comes to his sandwich needs. But this time, he placed an order a week prior for a Grilled Chicken Cutlet 3' Sandwich with Roasted Peppers, Lettuce and Mozzarella and an Italian-style one to bring to a Jones Beach party. Grilled Chicken sandwich had the spotlight plus everyone raved about how refreshing it was. Other folks also enjoyed the Italian style 3' sandwich prepared real nice with thinly sliced deli meats. I'm not a meat eater but I do appreciate a damn good looking sandwich that's been well thought of- like they put their whole foot in it. These guys at City Line thought of everything: heavy-duty board (of some kind) is used to balance the heavy aÅ¡Å¡ sandwiches in place while you're in transit. Bread slices weren't the biased cut or straight either you usually get from other delis. Theirs are cut into Triangles from tip to tip. Then they're wrapped super tight and sealed. The box itself is secured in all angles and taped on the ends and middle. Damage you wanna know? About $100. We've done Stop & Shop's version of their 2' sandwiches- but they're boring. Thanks a lot City for hooking us up!“
“The deli is spotless and the setbice great. I asked for tuna and chopped celery and the rice was exemptional. I brought home a soft roll for my husband to use with the extra tuna I got for him. Made to order I'll try something else next time. The deli lacy is polite and eager to help clients.Fran Lewis just reviews“
“I lived around the corner from Uncle Felix's a couple years ago and some of my best weekends started with their breakfast sandwich! Went back for a visit recently and the quality is still the same. Excellent buns with expertly cooked meat and eggs. The service is always pretty quick and the staff is friendly. Would definitely recommend!“
“This deli is popular and they have tons of good options. The food is good, however they over salt the meat dishes. This really makes it hard to enjoy the food sometimes. Fast service and friendly staff.Parking: There are a few free parking spots right outside the deli, it does get packed but people are constantly moving in and out.“
“There’s a gem of a deli on Martine Avenue, just next door to La Botte, a new Italian restaurant. I walked into the Plaza Deli and was engulfed with delicious aromas of grilled bacon and couldn’t help but feel the sudden desire to sample a few of the deli’s meals. I was all impressed with their delicious looking muffins and other dessert items! I’m planning to return soon since it’s great to discover wonderful places to grab lunch or a delicious dessert.“
“Hidden gem for convenience needs. They have a whole freezer stock full of ice, Soda that I didn’t even think was sold anymore, all types of beer, snacks and all the hot food they make looks amazing. Good store if you forgot something at the grocery store.“
“Such a cute little Italian deli. The paninis and wraps are delicious. Yes, the prices are much higher than what you’d pay at another store but the quality is pretty good. I think it’s a family owned deli? Unsure but the service was fast and friendly. Been here a few times and there were lines to order each time but it went fast. Would recommend giving them a shot if you’re around.Vegetarian options: You can tell which options are vegetarianDietary restrictions: Has a pretty big menu. Unsure about vegan options but I think if you ask they could accommodateParking: Small Parking lot or parking in the streetKid-friendliness: Not very kid friendly. It’s a bit tight insideWheelchair accessibility: No stairs and there’s a ramp“
