“This place is right in town, Crestwood (although it has Tuckahoe address). It has great soup (chicken noodle), also hot food, sandwiches. The staff is friendly and service is quick. Take-out or eat-in. The seating is not fancy in any way. There is also a coffee self serve. And many different packaged pasta to take home. It's one of the few deli's left that make food that doesn't have NYC pricing.“

“The sandwiches here are always amazing. The past few times we have gotten catering for my parties was amazing. We always get the penne vodka and chicken franchise. Delicious. We always offer catering from here and suggestb you do if you don't want to cook. We spent 225 for a party with about 14 people and so had left overs“

“Just moved into Tuckahoe, Ferris Mini Market is very close to my residence. They have lots of your needs for house, snacks, food items and a nice deli in the back with Boar's Head meat. J&G Deli is hands down the best Italian deli in the area! The place is spotless, the food is always fresh, and the service is top-notch. Huge shout out to Fausto, Hector, and the entire team—they always make you feel welcome. Their chicken cutlets are amazing, and all the Italian specialties are authentic and delicious. If you're looking for quality food and great service, this is the place to go!“

“The owner(scott) is what keeps people coming back. Just today while I waited Scott:
1. Gave back 20 dollars when a kid had overpaid thinking he paid 40 instead of 60.
2. A mom came in and paid for her order because her son had come in earlier that morning and picked up food without any cash.
3. Told two long time customers no charge - the deli accidently made the sandwhiches on rolls instead of heros so no charge. He had to force them to leave without paying.
This was all within 10 minutes. Hope this place stays in business for the next 100 years. The food is great, and they should do an article on him and this place.“

“Forget bout everywhere else. Joe’s is the place to go. Mozzarella is the best - light airy milky and when you ask for unsalted you get unsalted. Only problem is that they run out of items if it’s later in the day. So go early.“

“from the moment you walk in you feel like your at home with the way you are greeted! the staff is super friendly and super fast preparing your food. The menu is cheap and many options, the portions are huge, and everything is fresh! we were in town from Buffalo NY and had to stop in to grab a hero I got the Sicilian which was chicken cutlets, sliced boar's head ham, and fresh mozzarella on freshly baked Italian bread for the trip back home. If your ever in the Bronx make sure to stop in you won't be disappointed!!“

“Across the board, best chicken cutlet sandwich in Westchester. I always go with #7 — the cutlet is always fresh, cheese is always melty and it is always delicious! If you go with a wedge – its enough food for lunch and dinner. I only wish they were open later!“

“So on the outside, this place is not so easy on the eyes. It looks like a halfway shut down makeshift deli. When you enter, there is a narrow pathway to the register but a very big sandwich making area with alot of choices and premium meats. I was super hesitant but with limited time decided to give it a chance, I ordered the godfather on a hero. It was the best sandwich I ever had! They even presented it in premium boars head paper with the boars head sticker! The prices were excellent! Give them a chance! You won't be disappointed!“

“Best deli sandwiches I've tried so far outside of NYC. That being said, there was a bit of a delay with my pickup since I used their actual website and not one of the delivery apps. Sounded like they had forgotten to check it, I imagine the apps get way more traffic. A bit annoying but they quickly made it on the spot and apologized.Anyways, we ordered a pastrami and Italian sandwich. The pastrami sandwich was 4.5/5, a good amount of meat, nice crispy edges, but maybe a hair too salty on some bites. Paired it with some home made spicy mayo and it brought it to 5/5. Definitely getting this again.The Italian was solid and provided loads of meat. We enjoyed it but personally would have liked a tad more oil and vinegar. We gave this a 4/5.Both sandwiches are so packed that they can easily be split up into 2 pieces (maybe even 3 depending on who's eating it). So great option for leftovers.Recommend coming here if you're in the neighborhood looking for a great sub.“

Massive menu options of fresh made food, large juice options including Fresh made juices at the health bar, Salads , Wraps and more plus you can pick up items u may need in the kitchen instead of making a supermarket run. “Been a customer for about 4 months now. I am yet to be disappointed by their food. Delicious Mexican food as well with their excellent seasoning. Customer service is extremely friendly and you feel right at home and with a great family vibe going on. Their prices could be a little bit better I guess; specially if you pay with credit/debit, but overall I’d rather keep coming here for breakfast and lunch than any other place on City Island. Try a breakfast sandwich with chorizo or their Mexican Tortas.“

“I walk by this place everyday and stopped in one day to try the food because I was hungry and just got off the train. I was hesitant at first because I read the reviews and people complained about the food and service. I wanted to try for myself and see.
The place is clean and well organized. They also have plenty of menu items. I ordered the steak and cheese with pepper jack cheese and everything on it and a side of fries.
The cook was attentive and friendly. The steak and cheese was probably the best that I have had since I moved back to NYC.. I just moved from Florida.
The fries were not as good though which is why I took away a star. I love French fries and they tasted like they were warmed up or something. I also bought some snacks and they had some healthy selections for snacks which is a plus.
The cashier was also friendly and also attentive.
Overall it was a good experience and I will probably be back. The location is the best.
My only suggestion would be to elevate the French fries.“

“What a find! This is a classic Italian Deli right in the heart of Tuckahoe. I've been coming here about a year for their wedges and every time they've been great. The other day I went in at lunchtime and got a Chicken Parm wedge. It was so good I can still taste it. One or two days a week, they have their Vodka Chicken Parm which is unbelievable.“
