I got a chicken cutlet sandwich on a wedge with mozzarella lettuce tomato and honey mustard and wow was it good they customer service is amazing and the workers in there are so so nice and wow is it affordable I got a chicken sandwich that should have been 13 dollars. J&G Deli is hands down the best Italian deli in the area! The place is spotless, the food is always fresh, and the service is top-notch. Huge shout out to Fausto, Hector, and the entire team—they always make you feel welcome. Their chicken cutlets are amazing, and all the Italian specialties are authentic and delicious. If you're looking for quality food and great service, this is the place to go!“

“I was passing through town, I never go to Tuckahoe. My wife and I were starving. We ordered chicken cutlet on a roll. The sandwich was huge and the chicken was flavorful. It's refreshing to still have a deli that sells quality sandwiches at a fair price. I will be making my way back.“

“The owner(scott) is what keeps people coming back. Just today while I waited Scott:
1. Gave back 20 dollars when a kid had overpaid thinking he paid 40 instead of 60.
2. A mom came in and paid for her order because her son had come in earlier that morning and picked up food without any cash.
3. Told two long time customers no charge - the deli accidently made the sandwhiches on rolls instead of heros so no charge. He had to force them to leave without paying.
This was all within 10 minutes. Hope this place stays in business for the next 100 years. The food is great, and they should do an article on him and this place.“

“Forget bout everywhere else. Joe’s is the place to go. Mozzarella is the best - light airy milky and when you ask for unsalted you get unsalted. Only problem is that they run out of items if it’s later in the day. So go early.“

“from the moment you walk in you feel like your at home with the way you are greeted! the staff is super friendly and super fast preparing your food. The menu is cheap and many options, the portions are huge, and everything is fresh! we were in town from Buffalo NY and had to stop in to grab a hero I got the Sicilian which was chicken cutlets, sliced boar's head ham, and fresh mozzarella on freshly baked Italian bread for the trip back home. If your ever in the Bronx make sure to stop in you won't be disappointed!!“

“Across the board, best chicken cutlet sandwich in Westchester. I always go with #7 — the cutlet is always fresh, cheese is always melty and it is always delicious! If you go with a wedge – its enough food for lunch and dinner. I only wish they were open later!“

“This place definitely lives up to the Instagram hype! Our group of four ordered four different sandwiches and every one was unbelievable. The staff was friendly too and even had us try a sample of their vodka sauce which turned out to be the best I've ever had. We'll be back for sure.“

“So on the outside, this place is not so easy on the eyes. It looks like a halfway shut down makeshift deli. When you enter, there is a narrow pathway to the register but a very big sandwich making area with alot of choices and premium meats. I was super hesitant but with limited time decided to give it a chance, I ordered the godfather on a hero. It was the best sandwich I ever had! They even presented it in premium boars head paper with the boars head sticker! The prices were excellent! Give them a chance! You won't be disappointed!“

“Best deli sandwiches I've tried so far outside of NYC. That being said, there was a bit of a delay with my pickup since I used their actual website and not one of the delivery apps. Sounded like they had forgotten to check it, I imagine the apps get way more traffic. A bit annoying but they quickly made it on the spot and apologized.Anyways, we ordered a pastrami and Italian sandwich. The pastrami sandwich was 4.5/5, a good amount of meat, nice crispy edges, but maybe a hair too salty on some bites. Paired it with some home made spicy mayo and it brought it to 5/5. Definitely getting this again.The Italian was solid and provided loads of meat. We enjoyed it but personally would have liked a tad more oil and vinegar. We gave this a 4/5.Both sandwiches are so packed that they can easily be split up into 2 pieces (maybe even 3 depending on who's eating it). So great option for leftovers.Recommend coming here if you're in the neighborhood looking for a great sub.“

“Been a customer for about 4 months now. I am yet to be disappointed by their food. Delicious Mexican food as well with their excellent seasoning. Customer service is extremely friendly and you feel right at home and with a great family vibe going on. Their prices could be a little bit better I guess; specially if you pay with credit/debit, but overall I’d rather keep coming here for breakfast and lunch than any other place on City Island. Try a breakfast sandwich with chorizo or their Mexican Tortas.“

“the hot food was alright, a little too salty for my preference but i recommend everyone go here 1-2x at least. the service is absolutely amazing, the workers are friendly and charming. the coffee is also delicious even though i usually don't like to drink coffee. the cashier always gets a little bit crowded with nowhere to wait for your food though.“

“Sal has sold out and gone up North but the workers like Shorty have stayed on with the new owners, prices have gone up, but the grill is still pumping out great hot eats, but stay away from the fries and deep fried stuff as the oil often looks like motor oil, at least walk over to the back and observe the color before you think about the fries, otherwise it's a great place for a hot or cold sandwich and a drink“
